I've been dreaming of this place. I must go back. The ramen of my dreams, despite the cramped parking. I loved the straightforward seating arrangements and the staff were hustling the entire time, without making me feel rushed.
I will be back, often! - 5000511441096/26/2023
After finishing an outing on the Foothills Trail a few weeks ago we were in Puyallup again in which I have quite a few restaurants down on my bookmarked list but don't often make it over enough to work on the list.
My Lil' Cube sounded perfect but it was a warm day so Ramen isn't something that we really wanted but the tapas and the katsu options did draw us in to give My Lil' Cube a try. I got the Chicken Katsu Don which was very good and the ingredients were very fresh. I have had katsu before but it has been a very long time since I have had it and it was great to eat it again. The green onion and pickled ginger were very good ingredients that went with the dish!
Steve also got a katsu but got the Curry Katsu Don and that was excellent as well. Since curry was involved it added a spicy point of view as only good curry should. Definitely brought a nice spring to one's step there.
Service was very good and prompt so absolutely no complaints there. A very good dining experience and worthy of returning. I's like to return on a cold day for a nice bowl of ramen for sure! - 235561126/6/2023
Great restaurant in Puyallup for Japanese noodle cravings :) The service is super friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is usually busy, so make sure you come a bit early or during the week when there aren't as many people so you won't have to join the waitlist.
I ordered the Nabeyaki Udon which came extremely hot (which was nice) with everything described -- I appreciated that they put the shrimp tempura on the side so it wouldn't get soggy in the broth. It also had chicken in it, but only 1-2 small slices of chicken breast which felt a bit out of place because it had a really dry texture. I think it would have been better if it were dark meat. Overall it was something small I didn't love as much, but I still really enjoyed the rest of the dish.
The black garlic tonkotsu ramen has a very flavorful broth and definitely tasted better than a lot of the chains in the area (like Kizuki). The cuts of meat and amount of meat they give to you is much better than a place like Santouka.
Also a tip: the chili oil is delicious but the spiciness builds up quick!! Definitely add a little at a time :) - 1135747/12/2023
Good reviews led me into the door and I was NOT disappointed. We arrived and found parking right out front, but I could see the limited parking being an issue when it's busy. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and given a table immediately. We ordered and had our food within 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and responsive. The food was amazing and the place is large enough but not too big. For being in a strip mall, the decorations are nice and not distracting at all. The table and chairs were a nice place to sit and comfortable. The house next door is very unique in and of itself.

Ok, I live in Bonney Lake, and I often don't like to drive to federal way just for a bowl of ramen. I also don't feel like driving to Kent. So the next best destination is Puyallup's My Lil' Cube Restaurant.
It is a small restaurant, so warning that rush hour can be crazily crowded, which results in long wait time. The waitstaff know what they are doing, and they don't make me wait long for refilling a cup of water and constantly checking up on me making sure everything was good.
I ordered Gyoza, Takoyaki, and Shrimp Tempura, which my toddler seemed to enjoy very much. For ramen, I just settled for the Tonkotsu with couple pork slices, boiled egg, and vegetables.3/14/2023Previous reviewIt's a great and quick Asian ramen fix for me if I don't feel like driving to Federal Way. It's a small restaurant, so if you don't hit rush meal hours, you should be fine. Service is good. I got everything I needed.
You should try this restaurant if you're in Puyallup!10/3/2021Previous reviewThis restaurant is a small mom-and-pop establishment. It's fairly small, so you'll have to wait for a while during rush hour. My family waited 20 minutes before we would get our seats. The restaurant is practicing social distancing, so there aren't many tables available.
My husband ordered tons of appetizers, such as potstickers, shrimp tempura, pork buns, and pancakes. We also had pork tonkotsu ramen and shoyu ramen. Everything tasted great.
The only thing that I had to complain about was the fact we would have to ask for water refill instead of the waitress automatically would check in on us. Also, you don't get free soda refill, so that was a sad face. - 192819976/2/2023Updated review
Updating to add pics of current menu. We're happy as ever to have found this spot not too far from where we are in Bonney Lake!
4/30/2023Previous reviewGreat little spot in Sumner. Hubs ordered the curry tonkatsu don and I ordered the tonkatsu chashu ramen, and we both liked our selections. We also shared orders of the seaweed salad and gyoza. Simple yet comprehensive menu, and good service. We're always happy to land on this in our rotation.

We're normally down in the Seattle area but was in puyallup and was trying to find a dinner place. Actually we were trying to find like a conveyor belt sushi but ended up at this lovely ramen restaurant with delicious appetizers. We nearly ordered all of theirs apps! Food is delicious, even the teas were super tasty! Waitress was very nice, we were seated quickly and served quickly. The shrimp tempura and agedashi tofu is a must order here. The shrimp is so incredibly light and fluffy and flavorful all at the same time and the agedashi tofu was absolutely delicious, Â lots of dashi sauce and there are actually 8 pieces of tofu in that bowl! It's such a good deal. I normally get like 2-4 pieces from a restaurant but there's 8 in there and it's so dang good! Wish they were in Seattle but I'll make sure to book mark this place and come back again next time we are in the area.

Was in the area to take my family somewhere and got very hungry after!!!
I looked at Yelp for restaurants and this looked interesting
It was clean and the waiter was so helpful with my questions about no meat dish's
I got the vegan Roman with tofu instead of the meat!!
My husband got two tapa plates
Both was good and I'm glad we went!!!! - 26322947810/27/2022
This place is always in my bookmark. I personally love the chicken katsudon the most. It's so juicy and flavorful. The ramen were pretty good too, but beware don't put too much chili oil! It's tooo spicy for me. I think our ramen did not add enough broth. We felt like the noodles were more than broths.
The pork juicy buns (XLB) were very juicy and super hot. I personally prefer dintaifung dumplings more but this is not bad but I don't think it's good enough for me to order it again. - Cindy N.Walnut Valley, West Covina, CA02978/10/2023
We got a ramen tonkotsu, the tempura udon, and a black garlic oil ramen. Overall the ramen and udon was very tasty and the portions were just right. Customer service was on point. They greeted us, seated us, got our orders and food arrived rather quickly.
