My Karate Place

Both of our children take karate lessons at My Karate Place with Mr. D. Mr. D has far exceeded what we hoped our kids would get out of karate. We wanted them to take karate to learn to be focused, disciplined in thought and action, and to instill them with a sense of self-confidence. They have gotten all of that and more from Mr. D's classes.

Mr. D encourages a development of respect for self and others. He has fostered a sense of empowerment and self-advocacy. Making each lesson a form of play that is both fun and memorable to our children. Often using kid-friendly humor to engage and promote learning. He understands the limitations of children's attention span and coordination, demonstrating a remarkable level of patience and determination.

He is genuinely a kind person who makes his class a safe and inclusive environment, ideal for young students to learn and grow.

We have been bring our son for over 9 months and the progression has been fantastic. The instructor, Mr D is focused on the growth and development of each kids abilities and potential. I would recommend My Karate Place to anyone looking to engage their child in an activity that can truly have a positive impact in their physical and mental development.

My son has been studying Karate with Mr. D for over 4 years and he's loved every minute of it! Blue Line Academy is not just a karate academy, it's an academy that teaches self-discipline, safety, compassion and life skills - all within a fantastic community! Mr D. has a true gift in teaching. He has a great balance of listening, discipline and playfulness.

Fantastic place for developing young minds teaching them respect, focus, how to treat others and discipline. Our 5 year old son loves it at My Karate Place. Mr D is incredible with the kids. He teaches them so much yet makes it fun enough to keep the kids attention. And I see my son using things he's taught day to day. I highly recommend this place.
