Just the coolest collection. 40-year collection, very helpful and friendly people, and they offer one-year layaway with 20% down, if you're into it enough! (I didn't even look at the prices, so YMMV.)
Seriously, though, such beautiful, quality pieces with absolutely meticulous attention to detail.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Trina T.Franklin, TN010Apr 17, 2020
This place is like turquoise heaven!! I've never seen such a variety of amazing pieces like here! The owners were incredibly knowledgeable about all the pieces and were very helpful. If your in Denver and love Native American jewelry/art, you should definitely stop in!

Wonderful gallery. Truly amazing and special art made by extremely talented and spiritual people. Some of the pieces even contain a Polaroid picture of the Native American artist holding the piece. It doesn't get more authentic than that. Beautiful, inspiring, spiritual, and human. Great place for gifts especially for friends out of the country.

As an antique dealer I travel the world, and when I came across Mudhead Gallery I was blown away. I have never seen such quality, and unusual one of a kind pieces. I bought several items for my home, and many pieces of jewelry for my collection over the years. This is a must stop in Denver. The owners of 30 years are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I will be back this spring!

"The" gallery for a large, circulating collection of extraordinary Native American treasures. Others pale in passion and genuine interest in the art form that is offered at Mudhead.
As a relatively new collector, it took fairly serious diligence finding a reasonably priced gallery that does not sacrifice quality for affordability. At the bequest of multiple other galleries that just did not provide a wide selection of Native American art, I stumbled on Mudhead and will be a loyal lifelong patron.
Highly recommended for the seasoned and virgin collector alike! They deal in true tradition and beauty here.
The fact that the owners are truly lovely, informative, spiritually energized, and understanding certainly does not hurt their sway on my decision to return for future inquisitions.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - michael w.Belmont, MA041Oct 1, 2014First to Review
If you are interested in Native American art, Mudhead has many wonderful things to see and purchase. Just down the block from Rockmount, another one of my favorite shopping destinations in Denver. They have a very good variety of most N. A. crafts.
And, their prices are reasonable.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa C.Colorado Springs, CO04Oct 30, 2017
I and some of my art students went in here on our way to Robischon gallery. These are high school students who are all advance students in the National Art Honor Society, so they are very well behaved and smart about gallery etiquette. When we walked in I asked the woman behind the counter if she could tell us a little bit about the her gallery, her response was "We don't do school tours." I said that we don't want a tour, just a little bit of information. She said "All of the information is on the website" and handed me a business card. After I stood there in silence, she finally offered up a little bit of information. It was really obvious that she did not want us there and we left. Here is some advice that one of my art professors told me: "Don't ever discount anyone, the art world is a small one." Even though we did not buy anything today, my students (and I) will remember how you treated us. Young people are the future of art and they are vital because they are future customers of the arts. Fortunately Jennifer Doran at Robischon was really welcoming to us. I will never step foot in your gallery again and will let people I know how we were treated in your gallery.

The quality of art here is unbelievable. It's like a museum where everything is for sale! Nothing of this caliber anywhere else in the area. I walk away with a new piece every time I visit
