Great place to take kids, especially on a cold and snowy day! There were many different activities for kids of all ages. The various activities were very engaging, and thought provoking, which kept everyone entertained for a while. Make sure to check their Facebook for any closures/ late starts due to weather.

I love taking my kids here. It's a great way to get out of the house and have the kids get their energy out. I've went a bunch of times and my daughter has yet to get tired of going! They also have a spot for infants which I absolutely love. It's nice to be able to have somewhere that my younger one can play safely.

This place is great for kids to learn, play, explore, and make friends. All of my experiences here were positive and they have so much for kids!

Looking for a fun thing to do with your kids? Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum is our "go to" place for playtime with our 4 year old. He's learning all about bees, aerodynamics, physics, and math through play at the museum. He loves to dress up in traditional Japanese clothing and serve us tea and sushi in the Japanese kitchen. Next we pretend to be bees in the beehive (he insists that I'm the queen bee), transporting pollen to make honey in the hive. We never visit without spending at least an hour "doing business"in the farmer's market. There is so much to do, and the facility is clean, well-maintained and safe. We have been to many Children's Museums and this is our favorite, hands down.

We love this place! I have three year old twins and we have a cabin outside of Mt. Pleasant. Some days are too hot, too cold, too rainy, etc. to do what we planned and this place is perfect for those days. So much to see and do and it hasn't gotten old yet. We bought a membership and have been three times this summer alone. Love it!

Small museum but it can keep the kids entertained for hours. All of the exhibits are hands on. I think the age range is newborn to about 7 or 8. The water feature is fine to play with. They are areas just for building with large blocks.

This place is awesome for kids. I had a great time watching them play and learn. The many activates are great for expanding the minds of little learners. I would recommend all parents of young children to visit.

I wasn't expecting a lot, because it's so small. But it was incredible! Very well planned out. All four of my kids (ages 8, 6, 3, and 3) were thoroughly entertained and happy. And it was so small that I could just keep walking around checking on each of them in their various activities. As soon as we walked in the door, they were drawn to the dinosaur table while I paid. Then the adorable beehive. My 8-year-old girl took over being the queen bee and spent a solid 30 minutes ordering the other "bees" to their posts to move the foam "honeycombs" up and down and around. They even have a live beehive to look at. The music room, the climbing wall, the handkerchief-blower, the water table, the magnetic-face-maker, the car races, the market and delivery truck, the wind tornado, the rockets...everything is worthy of the space it takes up! Best of all for my kids was the free-art station. My 6-year-old stayed there for an hour taping and gluing recycling materials together. Her kindergarten teacher got a nice gift today! ;)
