Best Sammies in Tacoma! Food has been consistent for years. The only thing to remember is sometimes they get crazy busy! So try to call in your order ahead if you can.

The building itself is unassuming and white with blue trim. So if you don't know the area, gotta pay attention or you might pass it.

My go to is the Catch of the Day and has been for as long as I can remember. They also have chips (not the British kinds lol) and beverages like a mini-Mart so you can extra goodies.

They also have soups, pitas and salads if that's more your jam. Sometimes the soups do get sold out, so be sure to ask ahead or order that in advance.

I've ordered the party size subs a few times too, and they are a hit at the parties. So don't hesitate to try MSM, they aren't called that for no reason.

Gotta experience the Magical Sandwich Makers or else you're missing out!

I really been missing NY style deli and someone told me about MSM. I stopped in and got a Reuben deli style and was thrilled! Definitely reminded me of being back in NYC. I'll be back for more.

Lots of options, feels like an east coast deli- walk in, pick everything you want, order, and wait and leave. I might call ahead for future orders because they were very popular, even outside of normal lunch rush time.

Plus, they have their own parking lot so you don't have to drive around to find parking like a lot places you want to pickup & go.

I came here with one of my friends, and I just loved the vibes. It's one of those sandwich shops that should be on a food network show for how good their food is.
I ordered the 6" veggie, and it was massive! I ate half, and saved the rest for later. The veggies were so fresh, and I loved the sprouts! Can't wait to go back here again.

The best sandwiches in Tacoma. I always make a point of stopping here whenever I'm in town. It's well worth the wait.

I love the pickles that come with every sandwich. The bread is so tangy and tasty. My favorite is the tuna salad toasted with some cheese. They know how to make a perfect sandwich.

Love this sandwich shop. It's kind of hard to find a good sub shop in this area and this one does not disappoint. Fresh ingredients and bread all day long. Local little shop who knows what they're doing. We started coming during the tail end of Covid and have been back more times than I can count since then. Sometimes you just want a nice and fresh sub sandwich, that doesn't have way too much stuff going on. Simple but delicious. I have yet to find another sub shop around here that compares. But if you known, send your recommendations my way!

Uhm, idk there's always a long line, no where to chill while waiting. Waited 30 mins for a meatball sub and tuna salad sandwich. Based off the reviews and long line...was expecting more. Bread is from Fred Meyer's, no shade but I really don't understand the wait.
I really wanted to like this place because I know it's a staple in Tacoma.

Happened to be in Tacoma and decided to stop in to get a sandwich. Have not been there in years so I don't as excited. My excitement didn't last long. I stood in an order here line which was next to the pick up here line. There was one person handling both lines. There was a constant stream of people walking up to the pick up here line. They were first priority. I stood behind a woman who was working out a problem with her order which eventually ended up with a substitute vice a refund. I think I stood in line for close to 10 minutes, the guy behind me left. When the cashier finally was ready to take my order, he says, the wait time is 1 hour! What? I and others behind me walked out. Why could this not had been communicated with a sign vice standing in line waiting to be told that! If I ever decide to go there again, I will try their pre-order option. Very disappointing!

I love finding straightforward shops that do exactly what they say and do it well. MSM had a parking lot which was a relief for me with my kiddo in tow. The menu had quite a few options, and they seemed pretty open to modifications from what I overheard. Service was quick and matter-of-fact and the person I ordered with was also happy to give recommendations to others in my group. I ordered the deli club and really enjoyed it. Bread was soft but not soggy and the flavor was delicious. Also loved the expansive options of chips and soda. It was kind of giving convenience store vibes, which I didn't expect just from hearing people recommend it so much. It feels like the kind of place you make a pit stop at, but wow is it worth it! Our order was ready very quickly and everything was right, even the modifications. I can't wait to get back and try more!
