Mountary Custom Framing

I had a large (25'' x 40'') print that I wanted a simple frame for and was shocked when several framing places in the city gave me a quote of $600+ to do the job. I was excited about the concept of Mountary and even more so when I saw that it'd cost me a third of what other places wanted to charge. I like how there's no confusion about pricing - it's very up-front on their site. I got the white glove service which was very convenient. Neil brought all the different frame finishes and mats that they carry. He offered his opinion, but left it completely up to me which color I ended up choosing.

I got back the finished job right on time and was very pleased with the result. They use a sturdy, UV-resistant plexiglass that is clear like glass, but without the extra weight or the potential to shatter. The frame is super smooth and great quality. They did a great job and will definitely use them again.

The frame looks great, just the way i expected it to.
Packaging was thorough and a bit of a pain to unwrap, but i suppose it's better than receiving a damaged frame. I also couldn't find the mentioned instructions page in the box, but it's not rocket science (although i did have to redo it twice because of some sticker on the glass inside and positioning the print).

Will definitely order again.

I was stressed about what to get my husband for his birthday and then I remembered he had a poster from a show at the Fillmore that he wanted framed. I hadn't had anything framed in a long time and didn't know who to trust so I went to my Yelp app and found Mountary. I only had a week of turn around time so I sent them a message and received a response right away. They were so helpful and professional. I decided to let them make an artistic choice for framing and matting and it came out beautiful. My husband loved the gift and we now have a new framing place we can trust which is very valuable.

I've been meaning to write a follow up to my post for a while and now taking a rainy Saturday morning to do it. Well, I was impressed with the Mountary's service and initial look of quality. However, after hanging on my wall for only a few months the corners began to pull apart. I emailed Neil a few times to see if he could help out and got no response. After that I emailed the general customer service team and also got no response. So eventually I decided I needed to take matters into my own hands and ordered the corner re-enforcing plates from amazon. I figured I would just try to push the corners together as much as I could and screw them tight with the corner plates. Which I did but not a few days later I noticed that the corners began separating again because the frame material is so soft it gave way to the screws and began drooping again. So, all in all, I would say the service is too good to be true. What I am most disappointed in is the lack of response from the company once I had filed a complaint.

Fantastic.  The frame was exactly as I ordered it.  The guy who delivered it was super nice.  I'll definitely order again.  And yes, the quality of the frame is excellent!

If you need custom framing, look no further. Seriously. Stop. Just email or call Mountary....like now. You won't regret it.

Their White Glove service is absolutely amazing. (They come to your house) Best of all, Neil was so kind and so honest. I am not a framing expert by any means and I had purchased two beautiful canvas paintings on vacation.

Neil and his associate came to my house right on time and helped me pick out everything! They even gave me advice when I asked where to put it and what options to pick. They didn't try to oversell me anything either.

Now keep in mind custom framing IS expensive. That's a given. But Mountary charged less than other places and they offered to come to my home, pick up the paintings, and return them to me door all free as part of their White Glove promotion. (It's only $35 anyway)

The paintings turned out great and EVERYONE always comments on them.

I absolutely loved my White Glove service from Mountary! I was on the website trying to decide what frame and mat I wanted and decided to let the experts decide. This was definitely the best decision. It looks so much better than what I was thinking about.

Recently, I've had some bad experiences with things being sent and badly packaged, arriving broken. This was definitely NOT the case here. Everything was packaged so that it arrived safely.

I can't say enough times how thrilled I am with the result. Thanks Mountary team!

Neil and his team are awesome. I got the white glove service and had multiple pieces of art and photos framed. Work was excellent and everything was delivered on time. So much more affordable than other place in the neighborhood. Go with Mountary. You won't regret it.

I recently used Mountary's White Glove service to frame some holiday gifts I received, after I heard about Mountary Framing through a co-worker. It was super simple, I scheduled an appointment online, Gregory came to my apartment and  took care of everything. I got the frames back with 2 weeks ready to hang. Quality was great and price was reasonable!

There were some issues that resulted in a rather prolonged finish to the overall process.  But Neil was attentive and conscientious about fixing an issue that arose and I'm extremely happy about his professionalism.

I would highly recommend the quality, cost and ease of Mountary framing. I used Mountary to custom frame 5 prints from my collection to give as gifts over the holidays. The turn around was fast and the quality was great. I'll be using Mountary again!

Thanks for providing a great, low cost option to custom framing! Frames arrived quickly and were easy to assemble. I first purchased these frames for my diplomas, but I was so pleased that I later purchased them for a couple of pieces of art in my apt. Highly recommend!

I am a photographer and like to frame a photo for a lot of my clients, I started using Mountary as the quality is great, it's affordable and it's so easy to order online. I'll keep using it!

I was in the market for affordable custom framing and I was contacting a number of places and getting quotes and Yelp led me to Mountary's website and all of sudden the chat feature pops up and Neil just chats his way into my non-framed life. I wasn't even sure I was ready to take the plunge and commit but with a simple "yes, I'm a real person, how can I help" I was telling Neil all about my prints that needed framing. After a couple of absurd questions (Neil, you're a gentleman and a scholar for entertaining ALL OF THEM) and looking through their impeccable website, I was in. I opted for the white glove service, cause why not- having someone come to your house and letting you pick out frames and then they take your prints and ship back to you for a flat fee, yes please. The frames are great and the prints look amazing. All of the stars, so much yelp.

Quick note: I never got any confirmation emails for the white glove appointment or notice of shipping, but I never once doubted that I would get my prints back. Neil would never lie. It was the easiest, cost effective, all around awesome way to frame your stuff.

I have purchased three frames through the Mountary service and will definitely be a frequent customer in the future.  Prices are significantly lower than competitors and the Customer Service is top-notch.

The style of frames that are currently available for purchase will probably satisfy about 80% of most customers.  They are modern in style and come in a variety of colors.  The order is placed online and the website does a great job of explaining the terms associated with custom framing.  I was a total newbie at custom framing so the detailed walk-through was extremely helpful.

The exact measurements of your piece are required so make sure you measure that.  Like one of the previous reviews points out, once the package arrives, the directions were a bit more general than I expected (do NOT throw out the brown paper that looks like garbage because that will be affixed to the back of your frame).  

I was also the first customer of their White Glove service.  For a very competitive price, someone arrives at your home and helps you pick out what kind of custom frame would look best with your piece.  I found the advice to be super-helpful and love the way that the pieces came out.

I live fairly close so instead of shipping Neil delivered to my door on July 4th. What?
And it came with a handwritten note/coupon.

Mountary came to my office and did a custom framing job on the spot. The reservation was super easy to make and very quick. I wanted a newspaper article framed and was worried about it ripping as the paper itself is very fragile but they did a great job. Quick turn around too!
