Despite the class being called "Bootcamp: Morning crunch." It's not the typical in-your-face obnoxious drill instructor that I had expected. We had Adrienne at this location and she was the opposite of that! She had a sort of quiet intimidation. You listened to what she told you to do... no yelling needed..
In group classes like these, part of the motivation comes from yourself so if you're slacking off and cheating on the moves.. then boo to you. It's really as hard or as easy as you want to make it. I always worked up a sweat and I was definitely sore the next day. I was NOT able to take her classes back to back and had to wait a few days to get over the soreness.
There were many people in each class and each at a different level of fitness. I think Adrienne did an awesome job trying to challenge everyone at their own level.
*two thumbs up* also because Adrienne was one of the few that offered evening sessions!! :)Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Olivia J.Los Angeles, CA77737Feb 5, 2024
Come to Paul for all of your fitness and dietary needs. I have never looked and felt as good as I did when I was regularly coming to Paul (MWF & I did private coaching a few times). I am going to be back !!!! on a hiatus :(.

I took a Bootcamp class with Adrianne several months ago, and I enjoyed it. The bootcamp kicked my butt, but what was really cool about it was that she understood people have different levels of fitness and she encouraged people to push their own limits, not try to match what other people are doing. She provided a lot of good nutrition tips as well.
The majority of my class was there because of a discount deal from a site like LivingSocial or possibly Groupon (can't remember which), and at the beginning of the class, there was a large group, but as each week came, the numbers dwindled and dwindled. However, no matter what, Adrianne was always there. I'd definitely sign up with this company again if they offered more deals that matched the one I had initially purchased.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Emily S.Los Angeles, CA182422794804Mar 29, 2011
I've taken a few bootcamp classes with Adrianne. She teaches three sessions:
- 6:00-7:00am, Mon, Wed, Fri
- 7:15-8:15am, Mon, Wed, Fri
- 6:30-7:30pm, Mon, Wed, Fri
So far, I've only taken the night sessions with her. Classes usually always start on time. They're located at the Cheviot Hills Park. **Plenty of parking. The workout is outdoors. You'll need a yoga mat or a towel, to lay on the grass.
When you get there at 6:30, the first thing she has you do is run a big lap around a part of the park. From there, she has us doing lots of walking lunges, squats, side lunges, high knees, knees hitting your butt, kicking, squats with resistance bands, jumping squats... you get the picture. Tons of leg work with a big sprinkling of running.
You're working out your cardio and legs for a good 45 minutes of the class...followed by some floor work: Pushups, situps, downward dogs, plank, and some other moves which Adrienne makes up. Followed by stretching for 2-3 minutes at the end.
The class size is pretty small. There are usually around 7-12 people per session, a mix of beginners to advanced. And Adrianne is very good at managing us all so that we are able to get a good workout. She'll have you running more, or doing jumping jacks to wait for people to catch up to you. Or, she'll have five or six pairs of people all doing different things. (Kind of like cooking several dishes in the kitchen).
She's a pretty good instructor. She's funny. And she'll fill you in on what's going on in her life to distract you from the pain you're feeling when she's working you out. And, depending on how hard you work yourself, you will get sore.
Also, I like that, when you're working out with her, you're sweating real sweat. Not the fake sweat you get when you're doing yoga in a hot room. (*But I do like Yoga as well!)
Quick Tip: Don't complain when she's telling you to do something. She tells us, that she'll only make us do more when we complain. Just do it. :)Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Laura C.Culver City, CA0181Mar 5, 2015
I have attended the West L.A. Bootcamp with Adrianne for over two years, and I have to say that it is hands-down one of the best workouts you can get! Adrianne incorporates cardio, strength training, balance and agility work in every workout and works hard to keep progressing the class each week. Every workout is different and focuses on a different area of the body (core/arms/legs/etc.) I have seen several people completely transform their bodies at this Bootcamp, and I personally lost several inches from working with Adrianne!!
Please note though-- this is a GROUP class. The class is designed to help as many people as possible achieve a great workout, but it is not going to be specifically tailored to you or your needs. If you want that, you need to find a personal trainer. It's so frustrating to see people come in for one class via groupon or living social, list off all of the exercises they can't/don't want to do, complain they aren't getting enough personal attention, and then are never seen again. Please, please, please, if you don't want to do a group class where the instructor focuses on the entire group instead of you personally, don't come.
The class is tough. Adrianne is tough. Morning Crunch isn't there to help you slowly ease into working out or to help you maintain a moderate level of exercise. It's going to kick your butt! So make sure you are ready to work hard before you sign up. If you stick with it though, I promise you will be happy with the results!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Courtney G.Beverly Hills, CA031Mar 9, 2015
I have been attending Morning Crunch Bootcamp with the Amazing Adrianne for nearly three years now...rain or shine, exhausted or not it's something I can always count on! This all started out as a way to get in shape for my wedding and ended up changing my fitness lifestyle completely.
When I first came to Bootcamp I was very nervous about starting a new work out regime. What if I can't keep up? What if everyone is stronger and faster than me? Adrianne immediately put my fears to rest. She constantly encouraged me while continuing to motivate me and correct my form.
Over time, she has become very familiar with my personal limitations and injuries and will often offer alternatives if I cannot or should not perform a particular exercise. As an added bonus, she sends out weekly email blasts with nutrition information, recipes, tips for working out outside of bootcamp and general heath and wellness pointers. While this is a group fitness class, Adrianne understands that every person's body is different and makes it a point become familiar with all of the students in the class.
There is a reason that after so many sessions of Morning Crunch I continue to sign up...IT WORKS. Because of Adrianne I was 100% wedding dress ready and I continue to strive for a healthy and fitness loving lifestyle.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jocelyn S.Los Angeles, CA13Mar 8, 2015
I started Morning Crunch almost 6 months ago because there was a Groupon deal I couldn't pass up. I had been looking to get back into my workout routine but didn't want to join a gym. I wanted a class or something that would keep me accountable for working out and harder to make an excuse to not attend. Morning Crunch/Adrienne does just that!
Before I signed up for my first session,i read the bios on each of the teachers and was very impressed with each one of them. I was also pleased to see that Adrienne was going to be teaching the class that was I enrolling in. Her experience, her personality and her approach to fitness is just what I was looking for.
6 months later I still feel the same way. She is very energetic, always mixes up the sessions with different types and styles of workout outs. She likes to also check in on us personally and asks how we are feeling each morning and how our nutrition is going. Adrienne has a very informative blog spot which offers other activities to do in between the workouts and suggestions of healthy meal alternatives as well as recipes.
My first day of class I did let Adrienne know that there are certain exercises that I have a hard time doing because they make me a bit dizzy and she was fine with that. Adrienne gave me an alternative exercise that I could do and never made me feel bad or worse for not being able to do them. Some of the exercises can challenging but if you are looking to change your body then you will need to go outside your "workout" comfort zone.
I continue to reenroll each session because I enjoy the workouts, the people and of course Adrienne.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kimberly H.Los Angeles, CA762264486May 26, 2011

I work out with Adrienne at 6:30 and love her class. Her class is structured (a plus for me), tough (but in a good way) and somehow the hour goes by quite quickly!
