Monica Eisele-Flint, MD

Dr. Eisele-Flint is a terrific doctor. After years of seeing a rather gruff and impersonal physician, I found Dr. Eisele-Flint by luck when I moved to a new state and needed a doctor to help me with a horrible sinus infection. She saw me right away, was so kind and, like everyone else has mentioned, really LISTENED to me.

I've since been back 2 times, once for a physical and once for another condition. Each visit has been like the first--she never seems rushed, she always keeps her full attention on you, she's very knowledgeable and also realistic when it comes to all the other factors that affect health--stress, exercise, diet, weight, etc. I always leave feeling as though I have been heard and that I have a plan for feeling better or taking care of myself.

I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Classic thing is I didn't know I could write a review on a doctor until Dr. EF was talking about how crazy it is that you can do this.

So Dr. EF is incredibly easy to talk to and she really listens. She is the kind of person who you are happy and go see. As a guy, I hate going to the doctor but her easy going nature makes it a lot easier.

Ultimately, if you are looking for a doctor in Oakland, you really can't go wrong with her.

I was randomly assigned Dr Eisele-Flint when my previous doctor at the same practice moved away, and I wasn't so sure about that. But after one visit, I was impressed. She actually listens. Like really listens. She's not in a rush to get in and get out. She's friendly, laid back and makes you feel extremely comfortable. And after another visit, same thing. She's the real deal. She genuinely cares about her patients and it's clear she wants what's best for you. I highly recommend Dr Eisele-Flint!

Been a loyal to PAMF for ten years but the recent surge in patients and growth apparently let the process slip badly there and I quit PAMF, now looking for a new physician.

So I needed a new doctor in the East Bay, close to me and was looking for a more recent graduate (so they are up to speed on the latest and greatest) in a focused setting. Bonus was that she actually speaks real good German (for those who care). So there was an immediate connection.
She has great empathy, was immediately available when I arrived (late) and I felt very comfortable, no barriers. Some people just have great manners and empathy and are easy going, those are the ones you want as your closest confidante doctor.

Honestly... I have never been to a more comfortable doctor.

Firstly, when I made my first appointment with her, (I had switched insurance from Kaiser to Blue Cross Blue Shield and after the mess of trying to find a BCBS doctor, I randomly ended up with her--thankfully), we did my physical and then she talked to me for about 45 minutes to an hour about different questions I had about everything. Everything. Also... I got in within 10 minutes of my actual appointment time.

Secondly, I recently went back and same thing...I didn't even get a chance to sit in the waiting room. I went right in. She took a look at my legs, which were my problem this time, immediately diagnosed it, and ordered a few blood tests.

Dr. Eisele-Flint is easily the best doctor I have had in my life. She is wonderfully qualified, extremely easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and someone who you will be able to count on for years to come.

She is a really great primary care doctor. Very good listener, puts you at ease, and is informative. I just found out that she has LEFT HER PRACTICE though.

Dr. EF became the PCP to both my wife and I when our former PCP retired. She's been awesome to both of us. She somehow seems to shut out the whole world when she's seeing me and focus on whatever I'm saying. She's been great with follow-up to labwork and consulting with other doctors.

Also, she was able to quickly narrow down and confirm via lab work a serious condition my wife was having. My wife had been to many specialists who were unable to diagnose a problem. Dr EF obviously applied her training and wisdom and made quite a difference in my wife's wellbeing.

I couldn't recommend her more.

I tried to set up an appointment for a semi-urgent need and wasted almost a week trying to get in touch with a human being on the phone. I was forwarded to the new patient line, which no one answers. The answering machine states that someone will call back within 1 business day.

I did receive a call back, but it went to my voicemail. The message stated that she was accepting new patient appoints for MAY (this was the end of January). Like an idiot, I decided to call back and leave another message to indicate that I needed more urgent care than that (and hoping it wouldn't be another full day for a call back). The office never returned my call.

She's the real deal if you're looking for a Dr. who is focused on her patient, listens, knows medicine, and is collaborative in her approach to patient care. Couldn't recommend her more highly.

This lady is the BEST doctor I ever had. She actually cared about her patients and took the time to be sure they were in good health and safe. I got assigned to her because a more well known MD was no longer taking patients. That I got Dr MEF was a Godsend. I have been struggling ever since to find another...won't happen though. I miss her every day.
