Q:
Are any of the broths/sauces vegetarian? My wife is vegetarian & would love to bring her here. The biggest problem we have in finding places to eat(as far as brothy dishes/sauces type meals) is that most use some sort of beef or chicken stock.
A:
To my knowledge the sauce is vegetarian with a mix of onion, tomatoes. Ginger, garlic and spices, since they give the same sauce even with their vegetarian dishes.

Can I call ahead and order food?
A:
Yes, if you mean take the to go eat at your office, your car, a park, a friend's house, etc. If you mean to place an order and have a table at their small space to eat, I'm pretty sure no momo.

Have you ever eaten Momo? Momo is a type of East and South Asian steamed filled dumpling. Momos are native to Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, as well as North Indian region of Ladakh, Northeast Indian regions of Sikkim, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh, and East Indian region of Darjeeling. Tonight I had dinner at at Momo Ghar near Dublin, Ohio. Pictured is a plate of delicious Jhol MoMo, which is Kathmandu style steamed chicken Momos in Jhol sauce. Also pictured is a picture of Kothey, which is pan fried pork Momos and Gyathuk Ngopo, which is pan fried noodles topped with stir-fried vegetables and chicken.
The food and service here were incredible. The owner stopped by my table for a while and even helped explain a little about the dishes I was eating including telling me about the process they use to make their noodles taste so good. I love it when an owner of a restaurant takes pride in their food and is willing to talk about their dishes.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 13, 2021
Woooooow!
Finally I got to try this place, and I couldn't be an happier! I have made several attempts to go to Saraga Intl Grocery, but it was always too crowded. Today I finally ate at their new restaurant off Sawmill and it was worth the wait. Best service, decent beer selection and unbelievable food. This five star rating is well deserved, and honestly this place deserves to be on a "Best of Columbus" list. I can see myself eating here a lot!
Friendliest service and fun staff!
Amazing food!

So glad a location in Dublin opened up! Ordered takeout from the awareness of Saroga location's Momo Ghar menu. I wish they would put up a proper menu though on their Facebook page or here for this location. Was told on the phone that order would take 20 minutes and they would call when ready, so then we can go in and get it. We arrived at the parking lot and it had been over 30 minutes since ordering, so sent my husband in to check on our order. It was ready, but no calls were being made as they got busy. I suggest picking up your order and not wait for a call if time has passed.
We got the jhol momo with bread (naan). I wish I had ordered extra jhol, because I loved the flavor and spice of it. It would have seeped more into the momos and could have dipped my naan into it more freely. You can't go wrong with the momos here. They are excellent! They are big and very fulfilling as you get eight per order. It was just perfect on this wintery cold night. The pan fried noodles with chicken and veggies was good too, but I thought it could have been a bit more flavorful. I wish it did not have peas in it as well. Not a fan of peas in noodles much. I hope this location has somewhat of an extended menu, but awaiting till they put one up officially.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Namaste' T.Columbus, OH3985262Oct 30, 2021

Cute little place. Tried the aloo momo and chicken momo here.
Chicken momo was decent not really great.
The aloo momo was bland and didn't really have any flavor to it.
This place is affordable. Heard the pork momo is really good here. Haven't tried it as i don't eat pork.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 56413261190Dec 23, 2019
I discovered this excellent little restaurant when I started frequenting Saraga International Market on Morse Road just east of US71. It's inside.
I always get #1...and they are excellent. I keep telling myself to branch out, but so far I have not, the Momos are too good.

I am giving them 5 starts for there service.. I went on what american people say pot sticker rush, we ordered fried ones and the ones in there special sauce that were not fried. We also order the lamb curry. The rice was fresh and full of flavor.. The lamb was tender and juicy!!! Mix the juices together and they are so flavored proper. You could tell there was love time and energy in the food. I enjoyed there non fried pot stickers most. The sauce had a flavor that reminded me of being at a seafood Broil. The fried pot stickers we choose were pork and my company enjoyed every bite. They do have a wine list so you can get a cocktail as well. I suggest this place. Its small quiet and cozy at the same time..

Welcome to Dublin, Momo Ghar! Momo has a new home at Sawmill and 161 and I cannot be more thrilled. The restaurant has a swanky upscale bar vibe that I can't wait to frequent post covid. Until then, call ahead for takeout and the friendly momo team will take care of you. The food was still warm 20 minutes when we got home and the sauce was packaged separately so nothing was soggy. The Johl Momo is always a classic but next time I want to try other momos on the menu. This location has an expanded menu compared to North Market. I tried one of their noodle dishes and it was incredible. Pan fried, not greasy, with wonderful crisp veggies. I look forward to more meals from Momo Ghar!!!

Ordered pick up today Saturday around 11:45. It was ready in 15 minutes. This new Dublin location has great parking and the interior seats maybe 10-15 small tables. It's a more modern decor and ambience than the original Saraga location. Good craft beer on tap and decent wine and bourbon selection. Would def work for date night or business meeting.
Same great food. Highly recommend.
Most people could split an order of momos especially if adding bread side.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 57416526230Sep 15, 2018
Yum!!! This is a popular place to go to in the city.
I had been to their kiosk in North Market but had never come to this location.
First of all, it's tiny!! There are barely any seats in here, so my sisters and I got to-go. A lot of people seem to do that instead.
It was around 7:15 on a Friday evening when we got here but they were still busy. Two others were also getting to go while all the seats in this tiny area were filled. I don't even think there were 10 chairs here!
My older sister ordered one of the popular items on the menu: Jhol momo. All of their items are basically dumplings although this a Nepalese/Himalayan restaurant. It's chicken with a nice orange sauce.
My other sister got the Tibetan Jhol. Similar but they were were a bit bigger and had pork in them. It also had the same orange sauce.
I got the Nepali Momo. It's got chicken with the same sauce. It also came with a small side of chicken with spices.
It was very good and filling! Not really spicy at all. They all taste like there's a bit of curry in them, although not overwhelming. For a little less than $9, it was worth it.
My older sister's food came out quick because again, it's popular. They probably make a ton of it.
Mine and my other sister's food took a bit longer. Mine took maybe a few minutes after my older sis, but my other sister's took quite some time! I had gone to get tacos from Los Tizoncitos and had come back and she was still waiting. The workers were aware, apologized, and threw in some free pita bread. How nice!
I will add that it's recommended you get to-go here. My sister had come before on a very rainy Sunday and her and her friend were the only ones there until people showed up minutes later.
The space is small and I wouldn't know the best time to come. If you want the sit down experience, maybe go to North Market.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0
