Miyako

Came here with my husband and enjoyed our meal. The sushi was nice and fresh, sushi rice had good texture and stuck together, and our appetizers were good as well. The service could be improved upon. Our waitress was very interested in another guest , and other servers and one of the sushi chefs were kinda huddled around this person. I wouldn't have minded too much, but we waited a while for food and drink refills. Overall, I would recommend this place for the food as the sushi was quite tasty!

Foods good never had much of a wait. The bocce tables are killer great food great show the chick behind the bar was kind of grumpy other than that it's great place.

Was a nice place and good food. The only weird thing was our waiter was happy to serve us until we didn't order the sushi he recommended. After that, he was a little impatient and then was not as friendly.

Might try it again if in the area and in the mood for sushi. Maybe.

I took my 16 year old Grandson out with family and his best friend. The cook put on a great show for us. The food was delicious and more than any of our party could eat. We each had a enough for another meal to take home with us. The service was top notch and our server never let our drinks go dry. She was easy to ask for additional appetizers. I am just visiting from California but I hope to have another meal there before I leave. The entire restaurant, employees and customers sang happy birthday to my Grandson. He was thoroughly enjoying himself.

So apparently after five things on the menu go up a TON in price. This is not mentioned on the menu nor did the lady on the phone when I was placing my take out order mention it to me. A junior chicken teriyaki on the menu is priced at $10.99 & we subbed to fried rice which is $3.00 as a side item. I was charged $14.50 for the meal and $3.75 to substitute the white for fried.

If this was mentioned on the menu or on the phone when I ordered there would be no issue. But my meal was a lot more than expected & when I brought it to the person at the front attention she looked at me like I was stupid and said she'd just throw it away if I didn't wanna pay the price...

We went into Miyakos tonight and were very dissatisfied by the blonde hostess attitude. She was unprofessional, snarky, and childish. We always have an amazing time and service, but tonight was definitely and exception. So disappointed

Miyako used to be a family favorite, but after tonight not so much. our waitress told us it would be a 45 minute wait and after an hour and a half and two tables that before us after they got there after us, we still do not have a table. The blonde hostess in the front was visibly rude and you could tell she was clearly talking bad about my family and I. They kept telling us 20 more minutes but after a while everybody was hungry.

visiting Granbury from Dallas and my friends and I were wanting sushi. Not the best I've had and not the worst either. I believe when we yelped there was only two sushi places in Granbury, and this place has the higher reviews. Our waitress was very nice. Sushi was OK. Sushi rolls were small... very expensive for what we got. Not the best I've had, but did the job for what we we were craving.

Our family went to Miyako for dinner tonight and we all were very disappointed. The blonde headed hostess was extremely rude and snarky. We've always had good service, but her attitude was ver disappointing.

Went to try their Hibachi lunch - Had steak, vegetables, and fried rice (with soup and salad). Always fun watching someone else cook:). My only complaint is so much soy is used you can't really taste the food. Everything tasted like salt. For the price, was hoping for better. Will try again and go with the bento box.
