I wish I had believed the reviewer who simply said, "do NOT do business with this man."
Richard Miracle came to my home to give me a paint estimate summer 2014. He asked if I wanted him to refinish my cedar picnic tables and benches handmade by family. He showed some pictures of his work, which looked very nice. I said yes, he took them in his pickup, that's the last I saw of them. We had agreed to do the refinish work in trade for four antiques. A year later he said the refinish work would be $350. Now he's had them for a year and a half. I've called and emailed to no avail, he's quite adept at excuses. In January 2016 I sent him $50 for supplies to do the work, payment upon delivery. He has told me they were finished and that he would deliver them, but that was in January, and now it's June. Don't let this happen to you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bill K.Yelm, WA011Oct 27, 2016
My step dad used him to do various jobs on the garage and house. Very poor quality work, work left incomplete. My step dad has passed away last April and now Richard immediately moved in and is squatting in his house at Yelm. Working with the bank to get him evicted.

Worst "incomplete" job ever! They are not experienced in the building trades other than painting. They ignored instructions..they attempted to perform plumbing without certification and overcharged for an incomplete and ridiculous attempt of a job. Rich Miracle is a horrible scam who lost his contractors bond in 2014 and now operates under his new wife's bond .. which is now in jeopardy as they stole $10k from a 73 yr old man. They scammed a 56 yr old man into a $100K loan and immediately defaulted and broke communications. Richard Miracle and his company do the worst quality and don't care. When you correct him be yells and cusses at you and continues to ask for more money up and beyond the original bid. he crew is known to be drunk and using drugs on the site. Then when the job remains incomplete and any balance unpaid (awaiting completion) they threaten to take it to court and lien the home/property! They have a 2 page court record both civil and criminal. This is the worst experience I have had in years. I am a 61 yr old female with a real estate brokers license and a former contractor so I know the difference between quality and a chop job! The more I research online the more complaints are showing up and many anonymous have contacted me with their personal experiences with this company and Richard Miracle. He is a horrible person and takes advantage of and prey on senior citizens and the elderly because they think seniors are push overs! Stay clear of these despicable people. And share with everyone!

Run, don't walk away from this company. They damaged an expensive table and tried to convince they could refinish it by faux painting the wood grain. They NEVER -- not once -- showed up on time. Most days they didn't show up at all. He ebrought druggies into my home -- one of whom stole my checkbook and is still trying to open credit cards in my name. They sent me an 'invoice' before the work started -- when I refused it and offered a contract with specific terms for payment, he signed it. Then, when he failed to finish the work, his crazy-sounding wife sent me a string of threatening emails demanding full payment for work not completed -- I fired him, he begged for one more chance, then completely blew off the job. As he did with another reviewer, he left my home covered in fine while silt. He does not know how to do finished carpentry. His approach is to cover everything with caulk and spackle. He doesn't have tools to do the work, money to buy supplies (even with the advance I paid him), and I've since heard the business has lost its license. It is not safe to allow anyone from this company into your home. If you see the. In your neighborhood, call authorities.
