Mini Moves provided the best moving services I have ever experienced- and I have worked doing corporate furniture installations. They came recommended by 2 separate acquaintances.

The experience: We moved from a 2 bedroom apartment in North Cambridge to a 3 story house in Arlington. Dave came and gave a reasonable quote. To do my due diligence, I quoted with another company and the price was double mini moves' quote. I confirmed w mini moves, with a $50 deposit. A week before my move I called to change my move date and they accommodated graciously and without a fee. Day of, three movers showed up on time(even 15 minutes early) and ready to work. Before they started, they walked the place to check out all the pieces and made a plan. Then they worked for 4 solid hours lifting heavy pieces.

The team had the right equipment, worked together, were very experienced, professional and knew how to properly get heavy pieces around tight corners and up small staircases. The team and service were impressive. At the end, the move was below the quoted price. It was the best moving experience. I write this review because Mini Moves & More deserves praise and recognition for the outstanding services they offer. My experience really was that good and they didn't even ask for a review.

Very efficient. Detailed labeling our items on paper so we could confirm their delivery. All our items including breakables were intact. Pleasant staff in both states. We moved from Chicago to Boston.
Easy to reach by phone and email. Sent text messages so we were kept informed.

There is not enough room here to tell you about this Company and especially the folks that run it and the true heros, the muscle. It was a difficult move dealing with items that needed to go to a location 50 miles away.
My initial call was promptly answered, concern shown and a promise to show up for a quote, ON TIME !

Kudos to Greg and his team at Mini Moves and More. No video walk-through, huge forms to fill out. Dave came initially to evaluate the job, we accepted the quote, and communication was made via email and phoning. They moved some furniture and household things from a house into an apartment, stored furniture, equipment, and documents, and then moved apartment and the stored items into another house. That our things were stored separately, not communally, factored largely into our decision to use Mini Moves and More, and everything was undamaged and clean when we received it. The crews and staff were very pleasant and professional. Any small glitches were handled quickly and efficiently. Mini Moves and More make you feel good about the world!

We had a good experience with Mini Moves last year when we needed a very heavy treadmill moved across town and brought up to a third-floor unit. My reasons for not giving five stars are because I needed to communicate with them via voicemail as no one answered the phone both to schedule the appt and for day of move questions. We had been given a window for the move which the company missed and it was important to get updated info as I was coordinating with another party to purchase the treadmill. I was also told that I would be called before they arrived as it was not my house they were going to. But they showed up without notice so I needed to rush across town. When I questioned the timing of their pick up the movers said that they had been given a different timeframe. Ultimately everything worked out, and the movers did a fantastic job. But a little more communication would have been helpful.

I called Mini Moves this past week to check on availability. I left a message with detailed information, requesting they call me back. I called back about four hours later. A gentleman picked up the phone, asked if I was the one who left message earlier. I confirmed that was me. At that time he told me he was on the other line and get back to me in 10 minutes. It is now four days later, and they never followed up. I suggest if they would like to keep their reviews positive, then they take the five minutes for a return call, say yes, or no to job you are requesting. This would then leave customers comfortable with feedback, and the choice to try them for future jobs or recommend them. This is a MAJOR FAIL for this business.

We needed to move an adjustable bed. Mini Moves arrived exactly on time, were respectful of the safety protocols at the assisted living facility and worked quickly, carefully and efficiently. Highly recommend.

I Asked for a quote from this company. 4 Pieces of furniture, that I moved with a 2 wheeler previously (With 2 of them) and 2 I carried on my own with my son. Belmont to Watertown (about 2 miles) This is the response I got "Thanks for looking into Mini Moves and More. From what you described we would send a two man crew along with our 16ft truck to take care of your moving needs. I estimate your move taking 3-4 hours and costing $645." .
This is more than twice the priced of everyone else who responded. Instead of saying they aren't interested in the job they are blowing out the length of time it will take to perform the job. If you hire them I would not only watch that they are working, I would record them.

Just had Mini moves here to move donation furniture. Two guys, strong backs, and respectful. They were on time and worked hard to not scrape walls. Lots of challenging turns in this old Victorian.
Well done, I'd recommend this outfit!
