Instead of turkey and stuffing, we thought dim sum sounded perfect for Thanksgiving. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and we had a window seat overlooking the ponds. All the staff seemed to speak English only, even to Chinese customers.

The dim sum was good--I recommend getting the phoenix claws, fried taro balls, and beef rice rolls. The pork shumai was also decent and I liked dipping them in the chili sauce (ask for some). The only item I didn't like was the fried shrimp balls. I expected them to be crispy like the ones I've had at other dim sum places, but they were mushy.

I think the dim sum prices were reasonable and if you are going for dinner, they have coupons on their website offering BOGO 50% off entrees.

Second time here. Last time we came for lunch and I remember it being good. Not so much this time. We were here for dinner.

There was a tail in my shrimp wonton. The wonton soup really had no taste. The entree was pretty small for $21.95. There wasn't many veggies and it had three shrimp and three scallops. The scallops were fishy tasting.

Hubby had cheese cake dessert and said it was just bland.

Just way over priced for what you get.  Probably won't come again. $58 plus tip for two entrees, a cup of wonton soup, and a sliver of cheesecake.

When I want some decent Chinese food in Orlando, this is where I usually go. Their food is actually quite good and they offer a great selection. There's plenty of parking in their lot too.

The reason for just 2 stars is that their value is very low. I get that they're a tourist trap, and the prices they charge is almost highway robbery. Like I said...when I want some good Chinese food, it's good here. Just need to get over their over exuberant high prices. Which lends me to say...I has been a long time since I've been here. With so many great places to eat in Orlando with great value, this place is low on the totem pole...

Do not come to this establishment. Try panda or another restaurant if you want Asian food in Orlando.

    1. Food: Lunch portion was tiny, and the dimsum was terrible. Also when I mentioned that the beef in the rolls looked undercooked the server rebutted without even looking at the dish. What happened to the customer is always right?
    2. Decor: The decor is very authentic, looks like an ancient Chinese palace with a Koi pond.
    3. Price: Expensive. The portions for the lunch menu was measly. The food was terrible and way overpriced for dimsum.
    4. Service: Decent. My water was always filled.

While visiting Orlando we really wanted to try some dim sum. We found this place on yelp and wanted to try for ourselves how this place would be.

For starter, the only positive that I could give it two stars was the service. The guy serving us was super friendly and fast.

The negatives, food wasn't traditionally push around in a cart like most dim sum places, you order off a slip of paper. The food came out super quick, which can be either a really good thing or bad. It wasn't good, the "Phoenix claws" which are chicken feet tasted really old and stale. The beef tripe had NO flavor what so ever, the beef wrap with sweet soy sauce looked like it's was made days ago, the outside of it looks dry and just not appetizing. The shu mai was actually pretty decent and the bean curd wasn't too bad either. Also there were nats flying around the whole time, which was super annoying that we had to try to shoo the bugs away while trying to eat.

For such a big restaurant I don't know how much long they will continue to be open. It was a big disappointment. Maybe the worse dim sum I've ever had.

Should say I am a regular here. Every two years, we are here for the dim sum when we are in the area. The best part of this place is the traditonal chinese decor which is great for treating friends and having a big party to share the dishes.

They do have lots of dim sum choices. Some of special ones are only available during the weekend. We ordered a bunch to share. Everything was decent. The pan fried dumplings and scallion pancakes were overly welcome by kids so we ordered twice. Other than the dim sum, we also enjoyed a few our regulars like stir fried Beef with rice noodles, chinese broccoli, and park belley with dried greens.

The services were decent and the dishes came out pretty fast which maybe due to a week day lunch. We got the time to chat and adore the nice setting. We will be back when we are back to Orlando.

The short: disappointing, not recommended. The dim sum items were dry, overcooked, and not worth the bill.

I've come here for years but it has gone steadily downhill. I went yesterday for dim sum on a Saturday and was very disappointed. Yes the restaurant is spacious and you can say hi to the koi on the way but you come for the food not the view.

We ordered: Phoenix claws (chicken fingers)  that were not that bad, fried pork buns that were chewy and dry, steamed beef rolls that were also dry and overcooked, spring rolls that were small and tasteless (the dipping sauce was okay but tasted of flour), sticky rice in lotus leaf that was old and had been cooked too long, duck was dry (theme of the day), Japanese tofu that was plain and tasteless (it's been good before!), BBQ Pork bun (steamed) the one good food note of the day, Korean BBQ beef was so overcooked, and finally the reason I come for dim sum...the turnip cakes we're cold and stale, perhaps the biggest disappointment of all. The jasmine tea was good as always and the waiter was good.

Solid place that served up good food. It's typical American-style Chinese food and not authentic "Chinatown" food. Here's what I got.

Hot and Sour soup was solid. Just enough heat. Could use a touch more sour. Everything you would expect.

Yellowfin Roll was good. Nothing extraordinary. Just what you'd expect from any normal sushi place.

Shrimp and vegetables in white sauce. Plenty of shrimp of medium size. Fresh snap peas. Some carrots and onions. Served with a side of rice. Filling and tasty.

Finally a few orange wedges. I swear they were dusted with salt which was actually a good thing.

Nothing was stand out but nothing was bad either. I'd say it was perfect for the area given this is tourist heaven.

Too bad Ming Court for hiring rude and tackles waitstaff!!

I've been coming to this place for years now. I have never been treated so badly in the past.  We had a party of 18.  We were there for a "Good Bye/ Send Off Party" for my friend who was leaving Florida and moving to Virginia.  Some of her guests had never and will probably never meet again.

I am giving ONE lone star for the food. It was above average.  I actually enjoyed the Dim Sum.

    Now the problem!!!!!

The waitress.  She was not happy that our party wanted separate checks.  She kept insisting we split the check. Who would want to split a check with people you've never met before?  One of the guests only ordered a $10 meal.  My check was over $40.  Another guest brought her family of 4 with her. I would NEVER expect someone to pay for my meal nor would I want to be stuck paying for an entire family's (I do not know) meal.

When the dim sum items arrived one at a time, she would mockingly say, "We'll because you did not split your check"...fill in the blank.  Subsequently, when the entrees arrived (dropped off by a runner) she continued her rudeness by telling that she didn't care if other people ate our order.  Her rationale for this was because we did not split our check!!!!

Fast forward to the end of our horrendous dining experience.  As mentioned above, this was a good bye party. Some of us wanted to stay a bit and spend some last precious moments with our friend.  After all, some of us may never see her again.

Our waitress continues to be extremely rude and inappropriate.  She kept YELLING "Thank you very much.  It's pretty outside.  Enjoy the outside."  She might have said it over 5 times.  She finally stopped when we got up out of our chairs.  As we were leaving the table, she loudly yells "Xièxiè", another 5 times.  She continue to repeatedly says  "It means Thank You in Chinese". But with the tone of her voice & the manner that she said it, it could have meant "F U".

BTW, Ming Court was no longer busy when we finished eating. They had plenty of open tables to seat arriving guests.

I don't think I will be dining here for a long time. But if I do, I will make sure that this rude waitress never serve us EVER again!!!!!

I went here for Dim Sum. I wanted to get Bo Nay (pu-erh) tea but they didn't have it. I ended up getting Oolong tea. They use tea bags instead of loose leaf tea. They had a large selection of dim sum items. All the items we ordered tasted pretty good. The beef and shrimp rice rolls were good. The BBQ pork rice rolls were ok. The hai gow and siu mai were good. The green onion pancakes were great. The sesame balls were also great. I liked the eggplant with the shrimp filling. Some of the items were only available on the weekends.

Service was good. This was the first Dim Sum restaurant I went to where they dont have scissors to cut the Dim Sum into smaller pieces. They have a cool Koi fish pond around the restaurant.
