Mimi's Cafe

Love this place. Oddly I have had the fortune to visit the hospital nearby more often than I like over the past few years and this place is my reward when I am discharged.

Good service, always full (a good sign) great food and of course their signature giant muffins. When we order lunch we have them just go ahead and make it a breakfast muffin and put it in a to-go container.

The service is always good...nice ambiance .

We ordered DoorDash through here, my first time trying their salmon with bagel and potatoes. Those are yummy, flavorful and egg was juicy perfectly cooked.

My gf had the scrambled egg with salmon which is dry and taste bland ehhhhhhh.

For our sweet tooth, we ordered blueberry muffin. It was moist, tasty and sooooo goood!

All in all it was a 80 percent good and the scramble with salmon could have been better.

We will probably give it another chance.

We had a group of 26 people come to Mimi's for brunch. Alvie was our server and he was amazing! The kitchen staff did a terrific job of plating our food in order with everything piping hot and tasty when it came to the table. Alvie checked in on us many times, refilled our drinks and even bussed our tables so we could relax and chat after the meal.

I love this Mimi's Cafe! Their menu is so versatile, in my humble opinion, and this time around my mom and I eat picked an entree that was LOADED with delicious artichokes!

She had the Tuscan Chicken, which was laying on a bed of mashed potatoes and served with broccoli and tomatoes, onions and that artichoke I mentioned.

I had the penne pasta with artichokes that also had feta and tomatoes on top! So comforting!

This place seems like it is only a month away from closing. Staff is virtually invisible. The food is mediocre at best.

New Year's day lunch. I've been craving a turkey meal since November! Chose an entrée plate, turkey with two side dishes; sauteed garlic spinach and au gratin potatoes. I know from experience the au gratin potatoes are a buttery rich delight. Stuffing had a salty rich flavor, just as I'd expect. I especially wanted cranberry sauce and suddenly realized it was missing from the plate. Once the server brought that, the whole meal tasted like a favorite homemade dish.

As usual these days, too many customers for the amount of servers, so they were running their feet off with too much to do. My friend got so many lunges and squats in, getting up to self-serve our table throughout the meal. The servers kept their cool throughout; professional and pleasant.

Oh! Dessert was mostly delicious. My friend would have preferred a warmed up crème brulee. The bread pudding? It was made delicious by the outstanding whiskey sauce generously poured over. Wow, that's some kind of delicious dessert!

Had the pleasure of being assisted by Jeremy this morning and his customer service skills are on another level!!! I truly hope he's appreciated on the daily because he's so deserving he made our dining experience amazing very attentive and welcoming thank you Jeremy for your hospitality

It's a Saturday at 7pm and the place is empty. This sure says a lot. Food and service is average at best. Don't look for quality that's for sure.

Stopped in for breakfast just before 10 am. It literally was empty. We were seated immediately, the waiter took a few minutes to get to us and took our drink order. It took over five minutes to get coffee and water? Remember we were the only ones there.

I ordered corned beef hash and eggs. It came with a side of roasted potatoes and sourdough toast. My wife ordered a bacon & avocado omelette. It came with roasted potatoes and wheat toast. The food took longer than I expected for an empty restaurant.

My meal.... The eggs that I ordered over easy were over over broken. The corned beef hash was flavorful but mostly overcooked. The potatoes were cooked and seasoned perfectly to my taste!

My wife's order was very good minus the undercooked bacon.

The waiter was pleasant and attentive mostly. Overall the experience was good.
