I recently chose to cut my hair and found a style that I loved. I went to Milili and I have Kierra as my stylist. Even though I know who she is she had never done my hair and boy did she Slay!!!!
I loved the professionalism of the Salon itself, it holds a variety of educated Women who all have a past to tell and lesson to be learned. The shop is very clean, smells good a very positive atmosphere. Plus I loved you don't see the ladies smacking gum, gossiping, being what many think of an African American hair salon. Two of my favorite colors I may add. What I love about stylists is that they are reliable and get you in and out. Janay did just that. Highly professional which is a plus.

A terrible place to get your hair done. I am licensed and just moved to the area, I found this salon based on this site. That was a bad idea. Rhonda was rude when I came in, maybe that's just her personality but being an owner you have to have tact, which she doesn't have. The assistant, which I think her name was Mae. She was very sweet, I asked her if she does hair at the salon here since I seen her do braids when I walked in and told me yes, but she isn't licensed. That's a big red flag. I got my color and was satisfied and paid. I went home and the next day when I was separating my hair for two big braids I noticed splotchy pieces and hair that haven't been covered. I called and told rhonda about fixing it. She refused and I suggested I get my money back, she told me I should have said something before I left.
Well apparently I would think a licensed professional would do their job properly. So I contacted my bank to see what I can do about it. I will need to wait to see what they can do. Something felt fishy so I decided to look Rhonda's name up for her license and turns out her license has been suspended since 2017! She's been doing hair illegally since last year! Can you tell me which day and time you visited our salon and which stylist performed your service? We customarily make it a salon practice to have every client fill out a profile card and give a thorough consultation for 1st time clients . Look forward to hearing from you

I have visited the salon twice so far, first in August and again in October, and both times I was truly impressed with the service. Everyone is friendly, professional, and to top it off...hilarious. The salon is nicely decorated, clean, and comfy. I get services from Shanita, and she has WOWED me every time. She's very personable, charges reasonably, knows how to cut, style, and color, but most importantly she takes care of your hair. Someone questioned why I didn't give them 5 stars on my initial review. The answer to that is simple. This is my review/opinion. Now that we have that out of the way....
I haven't been here in a while. Things I liked at first seemed to no longer exist. 1) Scheduling an appointment became difficult. There were times I was called and asked the day of or day before to reschedule my confirmed appointment to accommodate another client. 2) Wait time increased to 20 minutes or more. I would arrive on time for my appointment and someone was just getting in the chair to get their hair blow dried. 3) There were too many changes in my hair. I started shedding a lot. The hairstyles weren't lasting. And the products left a flaky residue. 4) I was quoted one price and charged more. Unfortunately I could not argue it because I didn't have it in writing. Aug 22, 2015Previous reviewI was impressed with my first visit. Walking into the salon was welcoming. It's very nicely decorated, nice atmosphere, and nice people. It was not overly crowded and you're not sitting there hours waiting on your stylist. My stylist was Janay. I appreciated how she took the time to assess my hair and talked to me before just taking me to the shampoo bowl. She told me what products she was using on my hair and explained its benefits. I was also very pleased with my style. It only took 1hr 30 min for the whole process. Before I left, I booked my next two appointments. I also received lots of compliments on how cute and bouncy my hair was. She's not just someone who "does hair"; she knows how to care for hair.
I have been to a few salons and none match the quality of service received here. I've had many horror stories dealing with stylists who did not know how to care for natural hair. But that was not the case here. I think I may have finally found the one
