Lots of plants and trees which is what you would expect. Found exactly what we wanted...Day Lily and Butterfly Plant
Some beautiful hydrangeas, but they were already sold. Attendant knew her stuff but not overly helpful. I will try them again next year but earlier in the season.

I've been shopping at this place for years particularly when I had a garden. I would drive over from Cornelius several times during planting season.

Good selection of plants both for the garden and ornamentals for the lawn and good selection of indoor plants as well.

A lot of hard to find varieties as well.

We just moved to Denver NC which is only about 4 miles away. I started to see advertisements for fall cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, Brussel Sprouts etc.

Checked at Lowe's yesterday and they were sold out so I decided to drive over to Mikes. July and August were very hot and dry and it took a toll on Nurseries and Mikes was no exception.

They as well as other Nurseries with the exception of Lowe's are holding off on stocking these plants for another couple of weeks.

I can wait but will be back.

By the Way, as evidences by their sign out front, the do have a sense of humor.

Non-chain local nursery near Denver, NC. Fairly good selection of flowers and trees at reasonable prices compared to chain nurseries. Convenient shopping wagons to carry plants. I visited in early July after the spring planting rush so it was a little bit "picked over." Interesting place with some hydroponic tomatoes growing in a tank connected to a fish tank with koi and gold fish. The girl who helped us was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful when her ear buds were removed. If you like to support small business, do it here.

It might be easier to go to the big box stores for plants but a short drive to Mike's will save you a lot. Great selection and family run

This place is great! So happy I found it. Compared to the other plant places in Charlotte the prices are lower. Compared to your average Lowes or Home Depot, prices are in some cases 50% cheaper and plants seem bigger too. Good selection of ornamental and fruit trees. Great place and friendly staff.

Love this place & everyone who works there! Great selection & everyone is very knowledgeable. They helped us with what trees to get & when to plant them & relocate other shrubs in our garden. Highly recommend!.

We saw the ad and took an afternoon drive from Charlotte to Stanley to check out Mike's. There was a great selection, including a lot of ghost peppers, which are usually hard to find. Loved how there were so many trees, all labeled. Left with a lot of new goodies for our garden! Friendly and helpful service, too!

Super helpful (and friendly!) staff. Great springtime selection with very healthy, well cared for stock of a wide variety of plants.

first time there last week for tomato plants got nice plants set them out and growing like weeds lady was very nice i will be back soon
