Mike & Ronda's The Place

Stopped in Flagstaff for the night and had time in the morning for breakfast. What a pleasant surprise!!
The service was awesome and the food was perfect. Wish I had known of this place before, as we've been in Flagstaff many times and just found this place through the internet. To say the least, it will be our go to place in the future.

Have not been to The Place in about 4 years. Always stop by for breakfast when traveling through Flagstaff. Today I had the Breakfast Burrito for a late lunch. The Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich did not quite sound that appetizing.

Breakfast burrito had 3 eggs and you choose the meat, veggies and cheese. My selection was bacon, spinich, green chili and pepper jack cheese. Burrito had a large portion of hash brown. Had this for two meals.

The Place is old and also an old school restaurant / cafe. Looks the same as it did 15 years ago. Food and service was very good. They have two locations in Flagstaff and one in Glendale, AZ. Still a great place for breakfast or brunch.

I love the atmosphere at The Place in Flagstaff. Everyone is always friendly and cheerful. It's like eating at grandmas house. The food portions are huge and delicious. The staff are efficient and attentive. This is definitely a must go restaurant in Flagstaff.

A seriously no-frills eatery serving mondo honkin' portions of diner food at affordable prices. Waitresses are sweet & friendly, but hustle around like the Energizer Bunny overdosing on caffeine. Those ladies are jammin' in overdrive!!

Glass of water with a lemon wedge floatie that came before the meal was crazy big! That beast had to be a quart size glass. Massive!! Obviously Mike & Ronda's is geared toward dealing with customers who work hard & long and burn off a lot of calories in a day. Clientele that were sitting at the tables fit that model, along with families with kids. If you're one of the working stiffs of this world, you're gonna be right at home at Mike & Ronda's The Place restaurant.

I scored a chicken avocado sandwich with a side order of fries. Sandwich came with melted cheese, tomato, onion, and lettuce on it. It was also so huge I had to put a major squeeze on it to fit it into my mouth. Downside was that all that pressure sogged out the bread enough that it was disintegrating by the time I finished the sandwich. Which shows that the chicken was juicy as well as tender.

Fries arrived hot & just a hair shy of crunchy crispy. Potato portion was equally substantial. More fries than I could pack away after demolishing the sandwich, in spite of them being plenty tasty.

I've got Mike & Ronda's The Place restaurant in my sights for a repeat visit if I'm again in Flagstaff and in need of vittles. But I'm gonna make sure I show up real hungry.

Good service and great food make this place a nice spot to visit frequently. I appreciated the large portion sizes and positive atmosphere

Waitress spilled pop on me and my phone. When checking out, I asked for the manager and got her instead. I said I didn't think I should have to pay for the meal because I had the pop spilled on me. She became angry and raised her voice and said if she did that, it would come out of her pay. So I paid the bill, no tip. First time in my 62 years I never left a tip. The carpet was dirty with other stuff spilled on it. I understand they are busy but need to slow down a bit and not have drinks spilled all over and definitely don't raise your voice at a customer, and yes the customers noticed her basically yelling at me.

Great diner with a small town feeling. Opens extra early and has a full menu upon opening. Try their biscuits and gravy.

2 locations. Always clean and friendly! We first came for breakfast.. the biscuits are amazing! Then we tried the east side location for lunch... great job on the Rueben sandwich and the tuna melt is awesome! Portions are big and price is acceptable based on what you're getting.

My wife and I always stop here for breakfast in Flagstaff. The food is plentiful, hearty, and tasty!! The service is always top notch and the place is always clean.

If you're hungry then this place is for you. Biscuits and gravy? More like a loaf of bread with gravy. Very fresh..... Very delicious. Its a busy place but the wait staff crushes the competition when it comes to service. Flagstaff, you have a real jewel. YUM!
