I came to Michelle when buying my home last December and she could not have been more helpful and kind. When I encountered a strange snafu with plumbing within the first two months of my homeowners policy, she walked me through policy parameters and patiently explored other options with me. I find her to be extremely pleasant and helpful. They say hers is a niche business with its personalized care but I see it more as a boutique experience...great service for the monetary outlay with someone who knows insurance, knows people, and melds the two together with her glue of kindness.

Michelle is great however her assistant Julia is a terrible customer service representative and a liar. This is the reason why we transferred our policy to another agent. Julia discriminates the Hispanic market.
While Julia remains working at the office, we don't recommend their services

This so called insurance agent is as prejudice as they come..as soon as she saw that I was a latino she acted really uncomfortable..she made me feel like business wasn't needed or appreciated..anybody in their right mind need to not support people like this..there is many more places that appreciate your business and don't treat people unfairly

Michelle McGowan is amazing! I recently switched to Michelle because my former agent did not let me know about deductible rate changes, whereas Michelle personally took the time to call each one of her clients individually to explain the rate change and ask which deductible they preferred. This is the kind of individualized attention and care all State Farm clients deserve.

Michelle is delightful in person, warm and personable, and she clearly takes pride in serving her clients with exemplary service. After our initial meeting, we set up a phone appointment to go over an extensive list of details needed to customize my homeowner and earthquake policies to my needs. I am very impressed with the time and attention she cheerfully puts in to provide the best policy possible for her clients.

I heartily recommend Michelle as she is easy to talk with, and is detail and client-oriented. What a pleasure it is to do business with an agent who cares about me. I feel respected and protected by the outstanding service she provides!
