Michelangelo's Pizza

Visited Michelangelo's for the first time this past weekend. I feel like this place has been here quite some time, but has never really been on my radar. I had no idea it was a buffet. As a mom of two growing, hollow-legged, incessantly hungry boys, I would have surely checked it out sooner if I'd known!
The only thing I can say was a con to me about Michelangelo's was that it felt like it could have been a little cleaner. Our table had been "cleaned" but was still kind of dirty looking and sticky. I didn't use the restroom, so I can't comment there. The actual buffet area seemed sufficiently clean. That said, the pizza was decent and a great deal for an all-you-can-eat buffet. However, a shining pro about Michelangelo's was the super friendly, helpful college-aged girl working at the register. I wish I'd gotten her name as I feel like people are quick to complain about bad customer service, but rarely comment when they receive great service. Her great attitude and customer service skills should be commended! She was happy to explain how the buffet worked and that we could have any type of pizza custom-made at our request. She represents this restaurant well. I will definitely return with my hungry boys.

This place is really good. We came in right before the rush so it wasn't too busy. The food was great. I got a cheese stick, 2 slices of cheese pizza, a garlic knot, and a cinnamon roll pizza it was great. My father got pepperoni, meat lovers and a vegetarian pizza, and ranked it a 7.5/10.

Filthy. Absolutely filthy. So dirty that nothing else about this place matters.
Unfortunately, I've ordered delivery from this place prior to seeing the inside. It was over a year ago, but I'm retroactively grossed out.
Too gross to even consider as an option.

It has been so long since I have been to a pizza buffet. If you opt for the buffet they do ask if you want any specific pizzas, it just takes a bit to bake. I thought that the buffet had a good mix of salad, pasta and pizza options. It was just some had sat out for too long so it was just okay. Obviously with any buffet, come hungry.

Not worth the money. Not much on buffet. Had salad pizza meatballs. Food had no taste. We won't be back.

customer friendly, pizza too cheesy, spaghetti too cheesy, salad bar not user friendly. Just put plain spaghetti out with a nice sauce and meatballs!

Arrived 40 min before they closed on a Saturday night and they said they were closed because they had not been busy this day. We drive 39 min to get here. Needless to say we were very disappointed as the next closest pizza buffet was in Raleigh. After I expressed my dissatisfaction and told them how far we drove. They agreed to let us eat but then took down the salad bar before we could get one. Pizza was good but this is not a way to treat paying customers.

Not good pizza at all. No flavor. Not to mention it is damn near impossible to even get a piece of pizza or salad topping because you have to lean under with your whole body. (Probably should have looked for hairs) Walked in an hour and 15 minutes before closing, fixed a salad and they asked if we wanted more. After the first piece of pizza, I really wanted to ask for our money back. Once and done for me.

Dirty and sticky. Shouldn't expect much of a pizza buffet, but this managed to underwhelm. Meatballs were good, and oizza was good for a buffet.

Sorry to say the lunch buffet was not good. Garlic knots lacked any flavor (zero garlic). Spaghetti was WAY over cooked. Penne in butter was crunchy (burned) and pasty at the same time, and it has a weird chemically taste. Many of the clean plates had pieces of food stuck to them, so they're not cleaning their dishes properly. Soup tasted old. The Hawaiian pizza was ok. Dessert pizza was pretty good and the only thing worth eating.

After my first plate where I tried several items, there was nothing else I wanted to go back for.

If you're looking for a lunch where cheap and volume are your top priorities, then try this place. If you value quality at all (even mediocre quality), go elsewhere.
