I had legitimately no idea what I was doing and she walked me through every step of the process without being one bit patronizing. She worked with me proactively (going to countless open houses with me) to figure out what I actually wanted/needed in a place to get me ready for when I would be ready to put in offers in the summer. She had such great strategy for getting me a strong offer to stand out in this highly competitive market. It felt like she was invested in the process with me, through the lows and high of putting in offers. She advocated for me every step of the way once my offer was accepted and had amazing recommendations for all the other professionals needed (lender, attorney, insurance etc). I decided to put my Boston condo up for sale in March 2020, right before the Coronavirus pandemic broke out and as the crisis worsened, I never imagined I'd be able to even hold a successful open house, let alone conclude the sale in late April without a hitch. Michaela reassured me and took time to give me excellent guidance about the asking price and how to maximise the value of my home. The photography and marketing information Michaela produced was amazing and my listing looked fantastic. I had to be out of town for the open house weekend and I never had a moment's worry as Michaela handled everything so smoothly. The turnout was great and Michaela negotiated very skillfully on my behalf with multiple buyers so that I ended up with a better deal than I ever imagined possible.

At every stage Michaela was prepared with helpful information: a clear timeline of how the sale should proceed from initial offers through closing, vendors who could help with repairs and cleaning, real estate lawyers, moving companies and everything I needed to make my life easier. She took care of appraisals, fire inspections and a multitude of other details that needed to fall into place. When I unexpectedly had to have surgery 10 days before closing, Michaela handled everything on my behalf and ensured that the deal was successfully concluded.

Michaela did a great job helping my family sell the homestead where two generations of our family were raised in Brookline. She conducted substantial research to deal with complications related to the historic register and the corporate ownership structure. She guided us through the all the various aspects of preparing and selling the property, bringing in other professionals to maintain, repair or insure the property as required. She was very supportive personally as we went through this at-times emotional process.
