What a great experience! I've been looking for a masseur in Kailua that can actually lay on the pressure; finally, I found it in Mike.
Before we started, Mike sat me down and we had a nice talk about what my needs were, what I was looking for in a massage, and my experience with different masseurs in the past. He was very friendly and very attentive to my needs and was careful to make sure he wasn't going to hurt me during the massage. He was able to use a lot of pressure but still left me feeling relaxed and feeling great.
Beyond the massage itself, the ambiance was fantastic. He performed the massage in a cabana with beautiful plants and aromatics surrounding it. Upon entering, you feel instantly at ease.
What more can I say? Go get a massage from him right now!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - CJ S.Kailua, HI2611May 27, 2016
Love my massages from Michael
It's deep and intuitive and his attention to neck and shoulders was amazing. I've been a client for over five years now and look forward to many more. He's well worth fitting into your schedule.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gaurav K.Woodinville, WA272Dec 1, 2015
Michael is a thorough professional. He not only reached ahead of time so that the massage could start on time but was also very flexible in coming in sooner when we decided to extend a massage from 60 to 90 mins.
The massage was awesome.. An excellent mix of deep tissue with Lomi Lomi and very relaxing. Will definitely recommend Michael to anyone looking for an excellent massage when visiting Oahu.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Haru K.Honolulu, HI334Dec 15, 2009
Hands down, the best massage therapist!!!
I ran the Honolulu marathon yesterday, and I woke up with a massive body ache, barely able to get out of bed... I knew I had to go get a massage. I've tried massages from expensive spas to cheap massage schools, but nothing compares to Michael's massage. Thanks to Yelp!
He knows all the right places (like inner scapula, outer tibia, and along the spine) and the pressure was peeeeerfect (I like mines on the stronger side). Just what I needed from head to toe, literally! The unique combination of shiatsu (my fav), lomi lomi, and deep tissue really helped massage out my achy muscles. It hurt when he was massaging it out but it was a feel good pain! You can always ask him to change the pressure. But I loved it!! I even fell asleep a little bit...cuz it felt so good!!
I'll definitely be back again. I wanna say tomorrow, but I gotta save money for Christmas shopping ;p But I'm def going back before the year end. Thank you Michael!!!
Location: Home studio or he'll travel to your home!!!
I went to his home studio - small but nice and cozy, smells good too!! It's a much better deal if you go to his studio too, but if you're too lazy to get out of the house, it's still way cheaper than many other places.
Parking: No parking so make sure you street park on Oceanview or Sunset. I found parking easily.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Patrick I.Seattle, WA411192Aug 20, 2010
...A few weeks ago, I was blessed to have a 90 min massage by Michael...and let me say...it was in my top 10. I've been to spas around the world, and he is my massage therapist now.
I recently moved back to Hawaii after living in SF for 13 yrs, and I was hoping to find a permanent therapist. Well, the Universe placed Michael on my life path, and I am filled with appreciation for that.
His skill is bar none , exceptional.
Love and hugs!

I found Michael on Yelp and tried him out. He was awesome! He really listened to what was bothering me and really worked those areas. He just didn't do the "routine" as many other therapists do no matter what your concerns are. I feel great!!
He is really good and I am looking forward to calling on him again!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lei L.Honolulu, HI166197492Jul 19, 2010
Michael was extremely pleasant and courteous through every step of our massage appointment process. He answered all of my questions and gave me great directions over the phone. When I arrived, he looked out for me and greeted me outside his home.
His massage room was clean, serene and breezy.
Michael knew the exact amount of pressure to put on me and was professional throughout the massage. The scented oil he used was wonderful. I'm looking forward to my next massage with him....hopefully SOON!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Pam N.Los Angeles, CA186111Sep 26, 2016
Michael is officially in my top three best massages ever. And a reminder of why I will never go back to those terrible corporate massage "spas." The booking process was simple. I called Michael looking for an appointment the following day. He called me back immediately and texted details confirming time & location. Michael's space is tranquil - a total oasis. The trade winds cooled the room, it was heaven. And Michael's massage, oh my. Like nothing I have ever experienced. The rhythm & flow of the massage felt like it was created just for me. This was no one size fits all massage. He worked the right muscles, applied pressure when I needed pressure and eased up when he needed to. Michael is one of the nicest & most skilled masseuse. I'm hoping he visits LA soon because I have a list of 10 friends deep that need his healing hands!

I was back home for Christmas break so I decided to make a return trip to Michael and I am so glad I did! He was just as professional and attentive as before spending the majority of the appointment focusing on my busted up back just like I requested. Now, every time I come home my "must do" list will include Wailoas, beach, plate lunch, and an appointment with Michael... not necessarily in that order!
Highly, highly recommended!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Sep 13, 2010Previous reviewYou know those rare experiences that are so good you go, "ok, I've"ve been putting it off, but I'm finally going to make a yelp account so I can share with the world how great that was," ? Well, a massage from Michael Bradley was just that good.
I've been having pain in my neck, back and shoulder on and off for the last 7 years and have even gone to a physical therapist about it. While those sessions were nice, the pain would usually return within 2-3 days. I went to visit Michael a week ago and am still pain free as I write this review.
Michael is very professional and put me at ease right away. He listened to my concerns then modified my session to focus on my problem areas. I will definitely be back and highly recommend him!
One thing to note- I had a morning appointment at his studio and had to fight for street parking with all the students showing up to KCC at the same time as me. It wasn't a big deal, but if you think you might be going at a high student traffic time, allow extra time to find parking! - Kipp R.Washington, DC930Dec 6, 2009
I travel to Hawaii several times a year. As soon as I book my ticket to Honolulu, I call Michael to book a massage. I've been getting massages from him for over 5 years now.
Michael is a great therapist: thorough, sensitive and intuitive. He has a very calm and easy way about him. Very healing.
I've had massages at his home studio as well as at the vacation rental my family was staying at.
Either way, you can't go wrong with a massage from Michael.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
