I came here to Mi Salon and booked an appointment online with Cassie Hoffert (or Ryanne as she is online) for Balayage and man she did not disappoint! First off, the atmosphere at Mi Salon is great. Everything is bright and gives off a relaxing, spa vibe. Cassie was very talkative and kept our conversations going throughout my whole appointment - it really felt like I was talking to a friend! The best part, my hair turned out amazing! She did exactly what I wanted and made it look even better than I imagined! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

If you try any salon for the first time, it's always taking a chance. I have had a good haircut here before, but I've had two pretty bad ones as well. When you schedule an appointment, don't take the first availability. Ask questions about who does best with fine/coarse/wavy/straight hair.

After this recent cut at Mi Salon, I don't know if I'm willing to try another stylist. Addie gave me an extremely choppy cut. My hair is wavy and slightly coarse, which we discussed. I told her I don't do well with blunt cuts, and most stylists find the need to use a razor or thinning shears, I need lots of layers, and usually stylists will straighten my hair and look for touch ups. She didn't take those suggestions, and gave me something of a strange mullet. There were two layers: top and bottom. Nothing was blended. When she styled it I couldn't tell, but of course she styled it like a 90's "Glamour Shot". Picture shows what it looked like straightened the next day.

I just can't say enough about how great a stylist Sherezad (spelling?) is. My mother has been going to her for decades, for all her hair needs (cut, color, perm), and i began to go a couple of years ago for all my cuts. (I color at home)
It's pricey compared to Supercuts but on par with similar competitor's prices.
I don't get the chance very often to get my haircut so sometimes several months go by between cuts, but the way she cuts my hair, it still kiss good after all that. Not as great as when it is first cut, but i have never had cuts that maintain a decent look after two months, max.
Ask for Sherezad when you make an appointment. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I honestly go to Mi Salon for everything! I love it, but the last time I when there was horrible. I went to get my eyebrow waxed. Went I was sat in my chair, she did not allow me to really say what I wanted. I had a picture of Demi Lovato's eyebrows and a whole description planes out and she cut me off before I could show my picture and stated "so we are just cleaning it up" and walked away to get the stuff. Then during the waxing the middle part, she said "let's get rid of these things" and all I could think was that it felt that she was putting the wax pretty far over. Now that I am looking at it, she got rid of soooo much from my left eyebrow! I know eyebrows aren't supposed to be twins but siblings. BUT MY EYEBROWS ARE COUSINS OR CLOSE FRIENDS!!! I am livid and now when I look at myself I don't feel happy or confident! All I can notice is how messed up my eyebrows look!

Was in the area and they were able to work me right in! I saw Sarah who was great! She helped me decide on a hairstyle and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend Mi Salon & Spa and will definitely return when I'm down this way. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Great place!

I just moved into the area and was looking for a salon/spa that I would love and I definitely found it here! I came to Mi salon for a Mani Pedi and ended up getting my eyebrows waxed as well! Sam did my mani pedi, and she did an absolutely amazing job! She was very friendly, sanitary, and definitely took her time and made me feel very relaxed! She knew what she was doing and I will definitely be back to get a manicure and pedicure with her again!
I got my eyebrows waxed with Emily, and again, she did a fabulous job. She took her time and made me feel very relaxed. She evened out my eyebrows and made them look the best they have ever been. She also informed me on different types of facials, and treatments that she does, and when I do come in for a facial or waxing, it will definitely be with Emily!

DONT GET YOUR MAKE UP DONE HERE!

I had scheduled airbrush makeup for my wedding and it was awful! My hair done by Chloe was amazing. Amy did my make up and I've never ever seen someone who is so unprepared or a make up up artist have such a lack of skill or supplies. I can't even talk about the level of stress it caused. Don't get your make up done there.

However my wedding hair looked beautiful. Chloe did exactly what I wanted with a great attitude! She's very talented. Thanks Chloe!

If you want great looking hair you should visit Taylor and Tici at Mi Salon. I ALWAYS walk out happy and looking great! Taylor colors my hair and is a very talented colorist who knows what she is doing!! Tici is who cuts my hair and definitely knows her way with sheers. I have gone to her with a not so great looking cut and she fixed me right up! Combined with Taylor and Tici's skills I will not go to anyone else!

Giving this place a 5 star review for my girl and favorite hair stylist CHRISTY ROSSEL!! I have been going to Christy for a few years now. She always gives me a phenomenal hair cut and eyebrow wax. She's honest and so very personable and easy to talk to! I don't color my hair but I have seen some of her work and it makes me truly wish I had the balls to color/highlight/bayalage my hair. Promise if I ever do I won't let anyone touch it but her. Unfortunately I don't live in Kentucky anymore, so when I am home I always make sure to schedule in advance to get my hair cut as she is usually pretty booked up. Probably because she's the best ‍
As for the salon, it is very nicely decorated and well kept. I have never had any issues here with scheduling or anything. I would recommend them to anyone.

Good cut, but feel taken advantage of.

I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a new stylist. I saw this salon had good reviews and came in to get a cut and balayage. They charged me $229 for a cut and color (2 colors) today and I about died. The cut and color are good but I don't know how they can charge that price. I am willing to pay more for a good stylist who knows her stuff, but that price is absurd. I've had a balayage/ombré for three years or so and highlights for years before then. I'm familiar with the formula and process for my hair and I have never paid this much in my life.

Their site says cut $24 and up and balayage $100 and up? They confirmed this pricing when I called to schedule my appointment. Then when I was checking out, they rang me up at $229: $45 for the cut (I only asked for 1-2 inches off the base) and $165 for my color plus $20 toner.. who know about the extra $9.. I feel totally cheated

It's a shame because I really liked my stylist, but I won't be back.
