I liked the guy but the prices were cheap but so was the service. I ended up going to a Verizon instead and got much better results.

I wasted 4 days trying to connect unlocked Samsung. On day 1, agent charged me $21.29 for connection, only stating phone was not compatible, after actually he connected it and I requested to tell me how I could transfer data from old phone, as he refused doing that, stating Metropcs does not do it.
He refused to refund $21.29, and stated to reconnect back my phone waiving charges, lye as I found 7 hrs later home, I was cut of services, not registered even though I just paid my plan for next 3 weeks, Feb. 15, 2023 I was shut off services for 24 hrs, including emergency, that I had.

Day two, I returned there to reconnect my old phone, agent refused it stating it was damaged. Only upon me calling 611 customer service from store phone, agent registered back my phone, cutting me off 611.

Day 3, Monday, I returned to speak to manager, Rafael, who actually walked out on me, stating that Agent was doing me a FAVOR trying to connect my new unlocked phone, framing Agent job, charged and paid $21.29 as a FAVOR.
In the meantime, 611 customer service told me twice the unlocked Samsung was PARTIALLY COMPATIBLE, partially unlocked, refurbished not new, offering me connection however putting doubt in the phone quality.
It is clear that phone could have been connected by the agent, additionally 611 customer service offer connection free of charge, which is twice agent lied to me, charged me for connection he did not/refused provide, and withheld that 611 offers free of charge connectivity. In addition, he refused transferring data from old phone to new, in spite of my statement Metropcs did it always including three months ago buying the previous phone transferring data from phone I lost in September 2022.

No wonder, the store is empty with no customers, as agents under Rafael management refuse services and work as if they DO A FAVOR FOR SERVICES THEY CHARGED ME, THE CUSTOMER AND ARE BEING PAID BY METROPCS CORPORATION.
I made 4 611 customer service calls with complaints each time, no follow up.
Also, the Metropcs headquarter in Texas phone number is disconnected, so is the District manager!
Looks like Metropcs is a sinking ship without the captain, without the leadership and without oversight and supervision.

After 14 year's of service, I consider switching the company, however will report it to FCC and encourage others to do the same.

The worst company I've ever dealt with. I'm a metro client my old phone broke . In a panic I bought a new iPhone 6plus $700 . After much consideration I decided I really shouldn't be buying such an expensive phone . I returned to the store to get a refund and was told I couldn't return it. I called customer service they said I could return It . Went back to the store and once again was told I couldn't return it . They proceeded to tell to sell it on eBay or something. So I asked can the phone b unlocked to make it more sellable they said only it's been activated for 90 days.
I see now why people call this carrier Metro POS instead of PCS

      I don't use this company!
I needed a charger. This an Indian lady who worked that night I went there was rude. I knew he was getting a charger that night and I was near a phone store, I decided to get it for him.
It just happened that I saw the store near where I was doing my nails.
It was getting close to closing time and that rude 'moche' thing asked me to leave and was forcing me to get him a charger without him being there.

If it's closing time politely ask people to leave. Kindly, tell them to come back the next day and provide them with your business hours. Trying to sell and being rude uhhh uh...no!!!

Funny, verizon is right across the street which is what we use. How ridiculously funny. You have competition less than 1 mile away and you are busy pushing people away. Zero STAR.

Verizon works longer hours. They have very good customer service. See how that works... Take notes.
They even volunteered info on how to save money on our service. I'm glad the hideous thing was rude to me. We wouldn't discover treasure.

The phones they give are horrible1 New messages get put in saved messages. People are unable to hear you. If you hold the phone to your ear.......the mute button sits where your upper ear is hield.

Some of the rudest people I have seen work there.

I went to the MetroPCS store at Federal and Sunrise about a month ago. I had previously switched over a friend of mine who had been paying $200 in AT&T overages to MetroPCS since MetroPCS has unlimited talk minutes. I have had MetroPCS in the past and I like their phone service.

However, when I switched my friend over to MetroPCS, we did that by ordering a SIM card through MetroPCS's website instead of going to a MetroPCS store. It did take some time to get the new SIM card activated in my friend's iPhone, but that was nothing compared to going to this store.

All I wanted to do was buy a SIM card at the store, take it home, and then activate it myself so I would not have to hand over my smartphone to people I do not know. That seems quite reasonable to me. But this MetroPCS store would not allow me to do that.

But that is just the start. I told the young woman working at this MetroPCS that I just wanted to buy the SIM card and that I had done this over the Internet a couple of months ago for my friend. This young woman who works there, who by the way had THREE shades of eye shadow -- pink, green, and bright white! -- was very beligerant and quite rude. She told me they COULD NOT just sell me a SIM card without me letting them activate my own smartphone which I bought from some other place and have owned for a couple of years now. When I told her about activating my friend's phone on MetroPCS without going to a store, she told me, "That's because it was done over the Internet." As if buying products and services over the Internet changes the products and services from buying them at a store?!?

I can see if there are security concerns or even regulations with selling SIM cards. But I would be willing to hand over the same types of information used to buy the SIM card over the Internet at the store -- my name, home address, telephone number, and even credit card number. I just did not want to hand over my phone and all of my data to someone I do not know. MetroPCS did not let me do that.

The more I tried to argue things like how I could not see why I could not just buy the SIM card and activate the service myself at home and why it would be any different than buying the SIM card over the Internet, the ruder the woman who worked there became.

The bad behavior of the MetroPCS woman with all the eye shadow reached a pinnacle when she actually stopped looking at me! She refused to even look at me!!! I asked her in astonishment, "What? You won't even look at me now?" She kept looking away from me! What kind of customer service training tells these people to be so rude as to stop even looking at a customer or potential customer? This is insane!

So my recommendation is that while MetroPCS offers a great alternative to expensive cell phone contracts, I would avoid the MetroPCS store at Federal and Sunrise at all costs. It is not worth putting up with their rudeness and attitude. I've seen other rude people work there a few years back, but not to this level of rudeness. They don't deserve your business at this store with that kind of behavior anyway.

I was amazed by the cleanliness and organization in the store and the manager on duty today around 4-5 pm was friendly and approached all customers in a knowledgeable and courteous manner. He really helped us get a phone started and turned on and I was very pleased. A+ customer service!!'
