Mejia's Crazy Fruit

We found this place by accident. We had a disappointing experience at the restaurant next door and wanted some dessert. Not sure what this place was before we went in but we're very pleasantly surprised by the bright and upbeat atmosphere! Lots of unique choices will all kinds of very wonderful looking fresh fruit and ice cream. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a Bianca bowl with fruit, nuts, and cream. It was phenomenal!! My wife had a couple of scoops of ice cream, also very good. While we ate we noticed they had some food choices too on certain nights and the variety of different fruit dishes is impressive

Great food, prices are a bit high. Paid for a larger size strawberries & cream and was given the smallest size.

Fresh fruits, but it is pricey. i enjoy it, just make sure they give you the correct size when you pay extra for it.

Crazy fruit is amazing. The fruit is always fresh, the staff is really friendly, and service is prompt. Highly recommend!

I was here last week and I ordered a 16oz tropical fruit cup. Mejias is located in dayton tn just off hwy 27. This isn't my first visit. I think it's pretty good value for the price and the service is good. Lots to choose from. This isn't a place to go for a heavy meal. It's mostly fruit and ice cream. They do have some more options such as cheese quesadilla or hot dogs. I'm glad they are here since around half of the restaurants in dayton are fast food.

Don't get your fruit tray anywhere else. The fruit is the best. I also love the chicken salad croissant, nochos and tacos. Do not skip the rolled ice cream it is the best!

Definitely recommend! Friendly staff, and the fruit options are so good! I wish there were more restaurants like this!

Tried the pineapple bowl it was really good. Cream sauce was amazing. Hubby had strawberries and cream he said it was delicious. We would definitely recommend if your in the area. From Maryland we were just passing by it was really good. Oh I also had the street corn which was also good!!

This place is absolutely fantastic! The fruit is so fresh and delicious. I visited for the first time yesterday and it was the perfect treat. I ordered the strawberries and cream dessert and it was wonderful. The cream balanced out the strawberries perfectly and the addition of the pecans and coconut added a wonderful crunch and texture. The workers here are so friendly and the atmosphere is great. You can stop by for a quick treat, but they also offer catering services as well. I saw several people walk in and pick up amazing looking fruit platters. I don't live in the area, but I will definitely visit again next time I'm close by!

This place is so good. Got their lunch today for the first time and I was not disappointed. Got the nachos, a taco, and a cup of fruit. Very good!

Interesting spot and I honestly would have passed it up if people hadn't RAVED about it! It's so simple, fresh fruit, cream, coconut, and pecans! Sooooooo dang good! They also have rolled ice cream, traditional ice cream, dippin dots, and "carnival type food". The staff is super friendly and it's very clean. Plenty of parking in the front and plenty of seating inside! They do offer large trays to go which would be perfect for parties, baby showers, or just a treat for the fam! Do. Not. Pass. It. Up. I hear they are opening a location in Athens, TN close to the interstate! I can't wait to visit more!
