Mega Foods

Just a new name, basically the same store that it was before as a Food 4 Less. Only been here a time or two but have never had an issue.

Delicious tamales, and desserts. And beautiful service. Every time I go there I get a tamale. The mole is really good same with the chicken.

Thank you Mega Foods! I am now eating much more healthy than ever. I have lowered my meat and egg intake greatly. I'm not eating unhealthy snacks or any junk food. I've greatly reduced by need for butter, and dairy products. It's a shame you don't seem to realize that you will lose a lot of people who have learned some financial discipline during the pandemic like myself. I shudder to think how much food is going to waste!! Mega Foods was always overly expensive, excepting meat which was hit and miss in quality. It is now now ridiculously so much more than comparable supermarkets in the area for the exact same brands. In addition your produce is awful, worse than cheaper stores. Most of the employee's never crack a smile. The only good thing about it is it's such a rip off there is no waiting as the store is always half empty.

I'd like to preface this review by saying I've worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and I've missed as many Christmas's with my family and more holidays than I'd like to count so I know exactly what it's like and very much appreciate the people that do work for all of us procrastinators and people who have forgotten an item or two for dinner.
But to turn customers away at the door on Christmas Day that show up at 4:15 and watch the Carolers in front of the store for 10 minutes because you agreed to work on Christmas Day and want to leave at 5 on the dot is just poor management and leadership.
If a business has set hours and says they're open until 5:00pm regardless of the day the you shouldn't be turning customers away until you lock the doors at 5:00. Or set the hours until 430 if your going to close at 430.
But don't treat your customers with contempt as if they're the reason you agreed to work on the holiday! Your store hours should reflect your business's hours of operation ! Maybe they should have a sign saying we close when we want to go home forget about the business hours!

I will never shop here again!

Absolutely worst management ever nothing is in the right spot when you go to management for a question they say why are you a whiny little bitch and can't you find it yourself!!!

Bought a whole lobster today and the meat is green. How disgusting!!!! It smells super gross and I will be taking it back tomorrow!

Good food and great prices - especially on Mango's - yum!

Last time I went here was years ago when it was still Food 4 Less. Stopped shopping there because it was badly lit, dirty (rotten produce was all over, open beer cans on shelves, etc), and kinda skeevy inside. I came in with my sister in law purely for the Easter Deal. I was absolutely floored with how it looks now! Well lit, clean, friendly staff, loads of products and choices, and great values. Will definitely be back!
