Everyone I came in contact with at McLeod Health was very professional, caring, and friendly. I would highly recommend this urgent care office to anyone who is not feeling well.

RN got mad at me for shivering and throwing up while she was trying to get an EKG. The first time I went there I thought it was wonderful. I'll just go straight to the Seacoast if I don't die on the way.

I visited McLeod ER in Carolina Forest today upon recommendation by my physician who felt I could receive immediate care. I was very impressed with My intake Nurse Erica. My Nurse Sara, and the other staff who were friendly, efficient and caring. I was most impressed with Dr O'Malley, who not only listened but heard what I was saying. The first Dr. I have encountered in the past few months that listens and spends appropriate time at yhw bedside. . Dr. O'MALLEY WAS THOROUGH And REASSURING. I left having received good and satisfying care. Being I. The Healthcare business myself for over 50 years, you know when you ate receiving good care . Thank you team!!

So happy to have an emergency room close to home. Mcleod provides an easily accessible triage and emergency department. Wait time is beyond reasonable and the staff was absolutely amazing.

It took a little over an hour for my child to be seen and treated for strep throat. The nurse explained everything so thoroughly and the doctor was very knowledgeable.

The facility itself was clean and organized. The check in and checkout process was much easier than traditional emergency rooms. Overall this is definitely a place I'd rather go than CAMC.

Let me start off with the fact that they put me in a room quickly. The issue with this company is unprofessional behavior they have towards patients. First of all I was having heart issues and they drew my blood but wouldn't show me the printed out results. Gave me no help in what was going on just gave me a pamphlet for a Phyc and walked me out the door after 4 hours of sitting in a hospital bed. If you want to go to the ER for no reason and them to tell you nothing is wrong nor show your results definitely go to them.

The facility is great - lots of parking, large & clean patient areas. The front desk & support medical staff were compassionate & efficient. I didn't wait for 5 minutes before being taken in. Bloodwork @ urine all checked by on site labs, within an hour. The doc wasn't overly engaging but listened & answered questions. I was in & out of er, script in hand in less than 4 hours. Very grateful for their care!

Clean & nice staff. We did not encounter long wait... it was clean & friendly place. Not a hospital but has x-rays and scan capabilities. We were there 4 + hours .. they have no discharge papers stating what they did ... that was little surprise but they gave us prescriptions & scan disk for our records.

This has got to be one of the worst ER's! EVER! The front lady literally hates people, she would rather you drop dead in front of her rather then her having to get up to help people. Then the doctors, ha or the fact that no one actually wants to help people anymore. I remember a time when hospitals & doctors wanted to help people, relieve their symptoms and help the patient. Now everything is politicized and has infected the medical community. Beware this place does NOT want to truly help you. They want another number, another case. More funding. STAY AWAY.

Had a need to visit due to a leg issue late our first night in Myrtle Beach. Our GPS took us the wrong way so we called back. Tina answered the phone and stayed with us until we pulled in the lot. Everyone we met was awesome. Understand, this is a stand alone ER and if you have to be admitted they will send you elsewhere. They have no beds there. YET! I would not hesitate to go there for any issue. I am thankful for Tina, Toni and the dr there that night. All very professional and truly helpful.

I went to the emergency room here at 3:30 am this morning with terrible kidney stones. I walked in and was welcomed by the friendliest people on earth. They were understanding and got me in as soon as I got there. I was the only patient as far as I could tell, that was so crazy to me. If I went to CMC I would have waited hours to be seen. When I was brought back, they put me in a really nice room and got started on me immediately. My nurse was so sweet and great at her job. I have a fear of needles so she was extra gentle when putting in the IV. I hate swallowing pills so my doctor there went out of his way to make every prescription liquid. Every other doctor I've ever seen has given me crap about my pill fear, this doctor was so understanding and did everything he could to make my experience better. I was amazed with how I was being treated. The whole time I was there, my boyfriend and I couldn't stop talking about how great everything there was. This was the ONLY doctor to write me a prescription for pain medication in these 15 days I've been in pain. They were absolutely shocked that my doctor didn't write me a prescription for stones that require surgery. They did plenty of tests to make sure I was good to go. I was discharged an hour and a half later pain free and could finally get some sleep for the first time in 24 hours since my pain was gone. Thank you to the WHOLE staff here, I'm afraid of getting medical work done, but not here!
