I never get my haircut, and needed a cut and color before a wedding. I've known Melissa a long time, so I trusted her, and was very pleased with the results. I thought it looked great. Lots of compliments. I'll be back.

Melissa gave me probably the best curly hair cut of my life! I let her do her thing, and she shaped my hair in the most amazing way. 100% recommend!

Not good for curly hair.

I went in for literally a trim. She repeated my request to me "just a trim and a shape?" And that is what I agreed to. I left with 6 inches of my hair missing looking like a poodle with a mullet. I tried my best to be understanding and left hopeful that I could at least style it in a way that I could "live" with. There is nothing I can do with this haircut. The top layer sticks straight up because it's too short- I didn't even ask for layers.. And my bangs are longer than the top layer in the back. Not only is this cut nothing close to what I asked for as far as length or shape, I cannot style it. The internal layers that were cut into my hair have completely disrupted my curl pattern and I cannot tame the frizz. My curls will not recover without having to be cut off and grown out.

My hair takes forever to grow and I finally had some length to it. I was so excited to just get a trim to have healthy ends and now I'm borderline heart broken. This is not at all what I asked for and by far probably the ugliest I have ever seen my hair.

I was really trying to be understanding at first, as we all make mistakes... but the more I think about the fact that I literally asked for a TRIM, the more upset I get.

Curly girls proceed with caution.

Not good for curly cut. Stylist cut more than what I asked for. Added layers when I asked for NO layers. Layers were uneven, forcing me to cut 4 inches of growth to even out. Did not apologize when I reported the issue, only offered to 'fix it.'

Don't let outward appearances fool you. The ladies at mayapple know exactly what they're doing! You can go to fancier places, spend a lot more money, and be a lot more dissatisfied than you will if you visit mayapple.

I have been going to Amanda for about four years now. Amanda is the most fantastic hairdresser and person you will meet. I used to fly here from San Francisco to have her do my hair (to be fair I would visit family every couple months and would wait until I was in town to have Amanda do my hair). I will never go to anyone else!

If you want good platinum, go see Melissa! I love my color every single time. I get so many compliments on it. She listens to what I want and delivers it. I always leave feeling great! Thank you Melissa

Taylor is great. I have really curly hair and so does my daughter and finding a hairdresser who knows how to cut curly hair is always a challenge. We're so lucky to have found Taylor.

Melissa did my hair and makeup on her day off. The salon is next to the walking path at 546 W Center (down the hill), she was quick and ended up dropping me off at my next appt. A few days later I went to their other location at 31 Center right upstairs from Thai/Jordanian restaurant, and got a facial/massage with Sarah. They both were nice and the price was reasonable.
