Fee hike - No call back
We have car and home onwner insurance with Max Lam for a year, suddenly we noticed our card is charged more. We looked back the statement, turned out our fee is hiked 10%! There was no notice, just ONE LINE in the renewal letter (who the hell read that).
I tried to call the office multiple times and it went to auto voice due to 'Covid' - come one, everyone is back to the office by now. I sent the email and no one replied or whatever. It seems no customer service exists. I'm switching to others.

We highly recommend exploring your insurance options with Max Lam State Farm Office. We had the pleasure of working with Arniel Mirasol, Jr. from this office for the last couple of years. Arniel provides fast and awesome customer service. He explains to us the details of our policies and the pros/cons so that we are educated as consumers. He is always professional and friendly. We had different experience with other reps, but keep coming back because of Arniel. He seems to cares about what he does and goes above and beyond to help his customers. We are only writing this review only because he is awesome and we hope that Max is reading this and give Arniel a raise for his hard work and dedication!!

Been shopping since I moved to California, had geico and it went up a lot once I moved out here. It's waaaayyy more expensive then it was in Dallas. Spoke to Lendell and he helped me set up a Renters for my apartment which also brought my car price down. Lendell broke down everything so I knew exactly what I was getting. Would definitely recommend.

I am so unhappy with the customer service that I have received from Max Lam's office. I called to find out why my rates went up and the lady that called me back was so rude. We only switched to State Farm because we bought a house and Wawanesa was not offering home owners policies at the time. I explained that in three years at Wawanesa my rates went down and she said "that sounds too good to be true and that I shouldn't have switched." Unless you like long wait times for an agent to call you back and unexplainable rate increases, I would encourage you to shop around. The agent I spoke to could not answer any of my questions.

I just moved up to Sacramento from the Bay Area and in the process of buying a house. I was recommended by a friend to reach out to this office for home insurance. I met with Frank and he was very thorough in explaining home insurance coverage. I had always thought insurance is very complicated, but Frank made it easy to understand. He also went into detail explaining auto insurance and how bundling the auto and home insurance saved me money. He also went on to explain the umbrella policy which I had never heard of. I'm glad he did, because I feel we definitely need it, and it's very inexpensive for the umbrella. All in all, I ended up signing for home insurance, auto, umbrella and flood. Definitely recommend this office and Frank.

Love this office! Chris, Mercedes, Arniel, Nick and Stephen really helped me with my questions. They offer beverage when you walk in and everyone takes the time to say hello and make eye contact. Lots of great knowledge and experience at this office.

I just bought a car two weeks ago and I needed car insurance fast. Chris was very helpful and patient with me. I was trying to find the best coverage and as low as possible. But knowing what kind of driver I am, I'm just happy someone would even consider covering me. Lmao.
