I have been shopping weekly at this Mennonite market since they opened. The deli is clean and the prices are great. Several kinds of ham, cheese, roast beef, pepperoni, bologna, as well as Swiss, pepper jack, American etc. Everything is fresh and sliced to order. Mennonite staff is friendly, and helpful. I do wonder where other reviewers were shopping. Keep in mind this is a different culture. The market also has a large selection of herbs & spices. Delicious snack foods in small quantities. Oh!! the homemade potato chips. Also, milk, eggs, fresh peanut butter and fresh in season fruits and vegetables. I have never purchased the baked goods (I bake my own). They do sell everything you would need to bake your own goodies as well. This is a wonderful small business.

I love their deli!!! the subs they make are to die for and super good prices considering the quality. The produce is also very high quality. However, the workers seem uninterested and unfocused/rude.

This place is dangerous to my health. I can't seem to leave there without getting tons of stuff that is not exactly lean cuisine. Such as chocolate-coated grahms, pies of all kinds (strawberry rhubarb is amazing) banana cake, candy you won't readily find elsewhere, and on and on. It's fun just to browse too. You're bound to find many things you didn't know would be available, and walk out with a bag full of goodies.
I will agree with some of the reviewers who say the staff is not always welcoming. But that's almost part of the appeal. Obviously, it certainly doesn't keep me away!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 7, 2017First to Review
This market is such a jewel! A friend and I stopped in one day on the way to a retreat center and found a treasure trove of awesome things in here. Locally run, the proprietors are really nice. They have a selection of loose leaf teas, spices, jams, jellies, fresh breads--loads of things. I had to make several trips up to the register to drop off things.

Pretty nice Mennonite market that offers what one is accustomed to in these stores. The clerks are friendly. They are next to Old Town Diner so I'll likely stop again. There's plenty of parking out front and around the store.

I had a very different experience recently than the other two reviews. Upon my visit, the staff seemed very put out and not interested in my business. Not friendly at all.
