This place doesn't even deserve one star. They're supposed to help patients get back on track but they are rude, inconsiderate, lacking in compassion, and certainly do not act in their patients' best interest. My father was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in October of 2016, and the staff at the MARS clinic does not take this into consideration whatsoever. They refuse to work with their patients on a personal level, which quite frankly is not the type of patient-doctor relationship these patients need. Patients rarely see a real doctor, counselors belittle patients rather than helping them, and they do not pay attention to their patients' medical backgrounds. For example, my father takes Adderall and recently when he did the routine drug test at the clinic, his counselor told his doctor he was taking recreational Methamphetamines. This is obviously not true and is the direct result of the MARS clinic staff not paying enough attention to their patients. This clinic and other methadone clinics need to submit to the same regulations as a regular doctor's office. If you can find another way to receive methadone, I would highly recommend you do so. My father is a cancer survivor and does not deserve the treatment he has received here. No matter what the reason a person is going to a methadone clinic, no one deserves such poor care and treatment.
