I was recommended to this dentistry practice by my neighbor. From the first visit, I knew they were a perfect fit. Everyone there is kind and professional. I've never waited longer than 5 minutes for an appointment. I feel very well taken care of and my hygenist remembers every quirk I have and is always happy to accommodate them. I highly recommend this great practice!

Fantastic and friendly. The entire staff was helpful and efficient. I was traveling to the area and developed a toothache. I called and they worked me in. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. A big thank you to the entire staff. This plane ride will be much better because of you.

Awesome - patient, caring, professional, knowledgeable and affordable! How many dentists will treat a first time patient with an emergency within 24 hours?!?!?! This office does!
I have super high expectations of medical offices, some close to me say it's unrealistic. I do not like high volume practices where I don't know who I'll see and where there is a lot of red tape. I hate being treated like a number! I like to be cared for as a patient and as a person!
I had a horrible wisdom tooth extraction a few years ago and have really avoided the dentist ever since. It caught up to me and my top-right was in some serious pain. Everywhere I was calling was telling me it would be weeks before I could be seen, it was so frustrating! I stumbled along this little gem located next to the bayou on little York & Antoine. I located them on google as they didn't turn up in my network search - thankfully, they accepted my insurance.
I called on a Monday morning and explained my situation. They offered to see me that morning but I was heading to a physical so they saw me Tues morning at 8. The lady on the phone was courteous and kind. I walked in and was delighted to see a friend of mine waiting, but that is a side note. The receptionist kindly showed me my paper work and before I could finish they were calling me to the back for xrays and told me I could finish back there. I ran my mouth about how nervous I was and the lady taking my xrays was so kind about it and understanding. Within minutes in walks Dr Lawson - gentle and compassionate to my pain he looked at the xrays and gave me a consult. Within minutes he was numbing my gums so I couldn't feel the numbing shot, either. I appreciated his genuine concern that I was comfortable and pain free. He told me everything that would happen so I wasn't caught off guard. His assistant was so sweet about my nerves, I felt like she was coaching me through labor! Ha! The Dr then told me of any potential side effects and what to look out for. I was going to do more xrays and a cleaning and while waiting the two minutes for that I looked at my phone, it was 8:53. Yes, all the above took less than an hour!!!
Off to the hygienist I went after my full panoramic and she was so sweet, too! Made me laugh through my nerves. Dr Lawson came in and told me that I needed one more filling - he actually walked in while I was telling the hygienist about the numbing meds going away so he offered to numb me some more but I asked for ibuprofen instead and they happily gave me some. I decided to come back the next day (today) and they saw me at 7am (great early hours for those of us who have to get to class and work) and I was literally out of the office with my second filling by 7:45. I mean I took a selfie of my numb face to make my kids laugh while I was in the car and it's time stamped 7:45! Unlike some offices who won't open their doors until they open at 7, this practice has the doors unlocked and the office heated on this 38 degree morning when I walked in at 6:55am.
I had previously been quoted on this fillings some time ago but ignored it because of my fear - that other office quoted me $500 per tooth; yes, $1000 total! I literally paid less than 15% of that total quoted price for BOTH fillings at this dental practice with Dr Lawson!
I'm coming back in six months with my three littles!
Thank you to this team for helping me in my time of need.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Aaron H.Houston, TX366Sep 7, 2019
Absolutely love Dr. Lawton and his staff. Lisa is one of the best hygienists that I have ever encountered. And the girls at the front desk are always so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend having your dental maintenance performed by the this team of professionals.

I am an adult patient of Dr. Mark Lawton and would recommend him to anyone! I broke a few of my teeth in a racquetball game one night, and he saw me an hour after it happened!! He made my teeth look better than they did before, and he was not overpriced! He is very detail oriented but does not take all day either. Dr. Lawton is a very good listener. He is open early in the morning so I can go in before work and you don't wait very long in the lobby! In fact every time I have gone, I couldn't pick up a magazine fast enough before they call me back to the chair! His staff and he are very friendly and they make you very comfortable! I am also into technology, and I was very impressed with all of his digital equipment he was using! Try him out; he is great with kids and adults!!!

I have been afraid of the dentist for a long time. I am rational and understand they are just doing their job but it is never pleasant. Dr. Lawton could have overcharged me for a filling I got done five years ago. I had not gone to the dentist ten years prior. I thought the thing was rotted beyond repair, though I did not FEEL anything wrong. It just looked bad. Dr Lawton took a look after I had a cleaning and said my teeth looked good minus the two that needed fillings. I was so happy. Then the day of the filling he saw me promptly and was very nice. He numbed me up...which is part of the fear. That long needle coming at you and the feel of the needle....well...I did not feel it. He was so good. After I was numb he was swift and it only took 45 minutes from when I walked in the door to when I walked out to the car. Just had another filling today. The second filling I had not taken care of...same service. A+
His staff is super nice and they were so sweet while I drove in through horrible construction on 290 giving me directions and all. I live in Pearland and I drive all the way down there because a good dentist who doesn't overcharge is worth it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jason R.Houston, TX0111Mar 31, 2017
I have seen Dr lawton since I was just a kid, he and his staff have always treated me with respect and taken very good care of me, what I like about him the most is he does it all, he hasn't had to refer me out to another doctor I don't have time for that, layla is awesome she is helps stay on top of my appointments, as well as my hygienist. Thank you all
