Had a Great experience last night!! The carne asada quesadilla was so GOOD!! had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Dani. she was incredible and fast paced she knew how to serve the customer right. She is the definition of customer service.

I drove all the way from Yuma to try this Marieta's. I used to live in Santee and went to that location at least once a week for 20 years. I was really craving their food so I tried this one and it didn't disappoint.
The service was great and so was the food.
I really love the chips and salsa and margaritas.
I liked it so much that I bought a bunch of food to take home.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I've only been once. If I decide to take the 5 hour trip for lunch again maybe I'll upgrade.

Went in on Saturday night 3/9/24. After we were done eating we saw a HUGE rat run across the restaurant. The staff didn't act surprised and were very nonchalant. The health department closed them down on Tuesday 3/12/24 and said the kitchen is full of rat droppings. Obviously we will not be returning EVER!

Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. We had an enchilada/ taco combo and a yuge chicken quesadilla. Mexican hot chocolate was really good but molten lava hot.

Marieta's in Alpine is the only Marietta's in the chain to eat at. The service is impeccable and the food is excellent. The waiters have a wonderful personality and are very accommodating to your needs and wants. They make sure your drinks never go empty and meet all of your specifics that you may have and the minor changes you'd like and what you order. The ambience is amazing. They have Mexican aura as well as sports on the TV behind the bar. Nguyen and Alpine, and in the mood for Mexican food. This is a place to go for a date or to meet friends.

Was happy when I walked in but asked for a waiter and did not get service from a waiter for over 25 minutes then everyone was rude very disappointing service food was okay not great

Don't go on a Saturday night at 9 PM. Even though the place doesn't close until 10 PM. Kitchen closes at 9 PM!

I am astonished this place have more than 3 stars!!! Been here several times and after a few weeks or months, I remind myself why I really dislike this place. All though, Alpine has slim pickens for food, I don't think I will return after my experience here tonight!

Chicken enchiladas were cold and absolutely disgusting, sent them back to get a decently warm plate of the same disgusting chicken enchiladas in return. Something tells me they didn't remake them but instead tossed it in the microwave to reheat.

After complaining about this plate disgustingness, the lady had the audacity to charge me for a meal I did not eat and even returned.

The service was despicable, the staff was rude, short and forceful. Do not what so ever recommend this joint.

Local Gem in Alpine. Hankering for a quick lunch bite so I walked into this awesome homey restaurant. I was immediately greeted and given a menu to order. My food was To Go but I could've eaten inside or outdoors in their seating area. Super friendly server took my order for the 3 Tacos Al pastor to go. I got rice and guacamole. The food was so good I reached out to some friends so they will know about this place. The 3 tacos were beautiful to look at but even better to eat. Loved having the guacamole to spoon all over them. Yum!! Can't wait to come back.
