My experience with this business was just awesome, they took 3 of us as walk ins today. The salon is clean, spacious and they have refreshments for the clients. Soda , water , wine, coffee everything! There were 5 women on duty and from the moment we walked in we were welcomed. The atmosphere was so inviting and Erica was amazing. From asking us what we wanted and going through all of the options. I got a cut, color and style $150.00 I don't remember all of their names but Margaret was my stylist. I've been in Alaska for 3 years and basically haven't done much to my hair because it's under a beanie for 9 months out of the year. This place is so worth it, it was worth the 40 minute drive from Elk Grove! Please stop in , these women will not disappoint, I definitely will be seeing them every time I'm in town! I highly recommend Margaret's Salon!

I was lucky enough to get a same day appointment for a haircut at Margaret's Salon & Hair Gallery. All the women here were so incredibly kind. I walked in in desperate want of a haircut and recently dyed hair in a color I wasn't sure about. I left with exactly the cut I wanted and filled with confidence on my hair color choice.
I arrived a bit early for a last minute appointment and I greatly appreciated how frequently I was checked on and offered water, soda, and snacks. Not to eavesdrop, but I could hear the conversations the employees were having with each other and with clients. It was like listening to long time friends talk. You could tell how comfortable everyone felt. It was really nice.
Margaret took one look at the photo reference I showed her and delivered. I feel like I look like myself again.
Not only did I like my hair cut, I was blown away by the customer service and kindness. I look forward to my next trip and to seeing their renovated salon.

I've been hesitant to get my natural hair done since I moved to Sacramento but this was worth the wait.

Scheduling was a breeze unlike most other salons in the area.

The shop was clean and the staff was really nice! Make sure to bring some extra change for a tip. These ladies deserve it!

I picked this business from the yelp reviews for my birthday hairstyle. Baby, the shop was clean and hospitality was amazing from everyone. I tried a new hairstyle and it turned out gorgeous. Highly recommend coming here for all your hair care needs because they won't let you down! Thank you for helping me bring in year 26

First time customer and very disappointed!

I was quoted one price over the phone, but was told that I would need to pay an additional $10 to have my hair flat ironed to which I agreed. However, when it was time to actually pay, I was told that the assistant was mistaken with the price that I was quoted (even with the $10 add-on) and that it would be $10 more than that.

I did end up paying the $20 increased but I should NOT have had to pay the extra $10 because I was misquoted by an employee of the salon.

Not to mention, my hair was the plainest I've ever seen. I was very unhappy with the aesthetic of my hair as it looked like something that I could've done myself.

I WILL NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.

I absolutely recommend Margaret's Salon. The staff is so welcoming and made me feel completely comfortable. I wasn't sure if I was making the right decision, but Margaret walked me through the whole process and answered all my questions in detail. My hair came out gorgeous.

Wonderful people and great service ! I loved my hair. Clean environment and I had a good consultation first.

Way overpriced by a long shot, I went into have my hair cut and styled for $105.00. To be honest, I wasn't sure what I wanted. I did ask her to cut my bangs and hair length which she did.

Later I commented to Margaret, she said I could come in to have it redone, but they function on only what the customer request. Well, that's great it the customer knows exactly what they want. She said that I could bring in some pictures. I do understand their perspective but at the same time when I go to a hair stylist, I would appreciate some suggestions.

I think I should have been charged for a trim and not a cut. $105.00 is the most expensive service I've gotten out of a salon. For that price, I expect to walk out looking as if I got what I paid for, well I didn't.

I've gotten a more thorough cut from a 1st phase student at Paul Mitchell School of Beauty. The student was nervous and it took her 2 hours to cut my hair, when she was done, she washed my hair, styled it and everything fell into place.

Hair that I came in with was switched to cheaper, synthetic hair. Shame on you ms Margaret. I won't be returning

I love this hair gallery. You are not there all day. They are very nice and pleasant. It can get pricey depending on what you want, but it is worth the money.
