Manta Men Spa

Back for the second time to Manta and received outstanding service and an extremely relaxing massage from William. His touch was tender and intuitive and he made me feel pretty and cared for. God, knows some of us pay just to feel cared for.

I will say that the body scrub left something to be desired but not because of William. I would suggest that they use a more abrasive exfoliant or like mud or one or those Korean bath cloths and that rip your skin off. I like a rough scrub so I can actually feel like I've shed that nasty dead layer. One of the best scrubs can be had at the Russian Turkish Baths. They cover you in layers of clay and/or mud and salt and leave you to harden for like 20 mins. It's phenomenal. If Manta did something similar I would be ecstatic.

I'll defiantly go back for a massage. William basically made me fall in love with him, so I'm doomed to return a million times. ;)

Also the music at Manta is fucking tits! I'm obsessed even though I'm afraid to admit that I like to listen to Lana Del Ray while getting a massage.

This is my second time here, the first time was a good experience but today is the worst. When i got to the place, they didn't offer us a drink even after the massage which they did last time. Before they offer free water or wine, now nothing. I got the Russian masseurs, he didn't introduce his name. I told them i want an hour of massage, but the massage is 10 minutes short. The massage is ok, regular massage, and i feel he has less experience or skills on doing this. Moreover, the room is too cold, my body is chillin especially when he put the oil in my body. I feel that he just don't care about the client feeling, he just wanna do it and finish the session. And and music in the place is not relaxing at all, they playing pop music instead of soothing, slow, relaxing music. Very disappointing. Hope the management will look into it because this is not what i knew this place. $80/hr is not worth it.
PS, the other masseur is sleeping in the couch like he on his house.

Not what they advertise, not so clean, they did not even say hello....they try to tell me how much to tip...and did not like me to say no for a pleasure ending...and my massage was less than 60min...most likely cose my regular ending....hooo well...
I will not come back.
The owner did send an auto reply to my posting.....they can write but no speak.

I've tried other similar places in the neighborhood, but I'm on a tighter budget these days, so I appreciated that Manta is slightly cheaper than the competitors.

I had an amazing massage from Dave! He was very kind and checked in with me throughout the massage. He had very strong hands and worked hard to take care of my sore muscles. The place itself isn't anything to write home about, but the room was clean and had soothing music playing.

I will definitely return soon for the combo table shower/massage! Ask for Dave!

Just left this place they wanted $80.I t was so hot in there I think i woke the guy up he kept looking at me .I think he thougjt i was the police Lol not going back

Decided to give this place a try. This is the worst massage I've ever had.
Seriously, you are better going anywhere else. The masseur had no skill and kept asking me if I wanted the "special" service. Not a good business. Waste of money.

Just got an awesome massage from Tomas. He is very intuitive, in his technique, know the right pressure amount and rather give a strong deep massage that knock out my back muscle knots. He check in through out the massage to make sure that I am comfortable and need any adjustment. He's very personable, which we don't get much in dime a dozen. If I am back in NYC, I will visit him again.

Dave is amazing ! Hands down . What an exceptional massage , Swedish with deep tissue and wow great music ! Love it ! I recently revisited back again and William , Ren and all the massuers are exceptionally amazing , great skills ! Love to come back here at all the times .

Unfriendly staff. The guy didn't even bother introducing himself. Place is clean which is good but massage was mediocre at best. Def not going back.

4th visit, first time I didn't like it. Stay away from the rude Asian that was working this afternoon... really bad experience.
