This was so good! I got the Rice bowl with chicken and shrimp. It was seasoned well and very filling. I will definitely get this again!

It looks very unclean specially the back porch it made us not want to eat there. Some places just don't think about cleaning up the grounds first???

The cheese burger and fries were good (fries are separate purchase tomato sandwich could not taste tomato the chicken livers taste like dog food mac and cheese needs milk and butter collard greens taste canned. Would i come back only for the burger

The concept is nice, but the food is terrible. Well, the food they had available. All the vegetables have a weird under taste and lack seasoning. The macaroni and cheese was missing cheese and milk, think noodles with cheese chunks. They offer sweet tea, but skip it sense it's just that powdered tea mix.

There was only one dessert available and after the meal we decided not to take the chance.

The "waitress" is lovely but the owner has a bit of an attitude when asked about the food and lack of availability. I wanted to love this place but it just was not good. If you must try for yourself stick with the fries.

Terrific! Had the catfish with greens and fried okra. Generous portions, fast service!

Looking for a family owned and operated restaurant in Farmville? The staff was welcoming! Our first visit was great. The specials this weekend were baked chicken, meatloaf and ribs. Four of us got the ribs and they were good. The stars of the meal for me though were the mac and cheese and collard greens! We will be back. Not only to support local business but because the food is calling my name!

My wife and I went there on her lunch break. We both ordered the Grilled Chicken salad. It took almost an hour for us to get our food, we were going to eat inside but we had to take it to go because she had to return to work. One person working in a restaurant when the food is MTO isn't going to work. The Salad was ok but not worth the wait.

Wonderfullycdelicious Southern food. The decor is like sitting in my own kitchen. The potato salad is a sweet mustard variety, well worth the try. They even have ocra. Prices are reasonable and the owner is very personable.

We tried this restaurant and found the food to be quite good. They do need to train the wait staff to provide utensils and drinks prior to serving the food. Very friendly, just not polished. Not attentive to refilling drinks. Also, if it's take out, I understand styrofoam containers, but for inside diners, let's get some real dishes on the table. I hate cutting up food and cutting into styrofoam along the way. The prices are high enough to provide customers with a better dining experience. Again, the food was good.

Definitely one of the best soul food restaurants in town. I got the chicken dinner and it was delicious. Chicken was hot, extremely tasty, and had a wonderful crunch. I got a side of cole slaw and potato salad and both were great. The cashier was super kind and friendly. One downside was the wait, would recommend calling in your order ahead of time. But definitely a must eat in Farmville.
