I'm so grateful to have found such a great salon/barbershop where I could have my hair cut and styled to my exact description and also have products available that work with my hair texture and styling wishes. I've loved my last three cuts thx to two different stylists. Location is super convenient and they're surprisingly affordable considering the quality of their product, the skills of their stylists + friendliness, and don't even get me started on the ambiance! Chefs'-kiss-worthy take on "eccentric rustic industrial" and j'adore!

I had the pleasure of working with Vince, and it was the first time I actually felt satisfied with the result of a haircut--perhaps it was the complimentary beer. Came here with the wifey to get her hair cut. Really cool vibe and hoppin' for a Saturday morning. I decided to join in the fun and got a quick cut myself. Mel kindly took me in as a walk in and did a quick shag cut for me. Styled WAY cute..cuter than I have ever had! Great staff! We will be back

Whomever came up with the design of this store, deserves recognition. The service is at the highest of levels. The shop is clean and inviting. The staff looks like they are all enjoying themselves, happy and professional. The gentleman with the beard has dreamy eyes and a sweet disposition. He may be the owner. I am not sure if I only go there for a great cut.

This salon is amazing!!! Such a welcoming, nonjudgmental place. Everyone is so nice here! I see Cielo for my color and she always does such an amazing job! She really cares about the health of the hair which I appreciate so much. Her creative color skills are out of this world If you are looking to explore fun colors, go see Cielo!! (I also found out on my last visit that she is a sensory specialist, so cool!)

Always enjoy walking in to get my haircut here! Vince T and the whole staff go above and beyond to make the visit enjoyable and relaxing. Also the Michigan vibes remind me of home.

Finally a place with skilled people! We moved to Henderson in 2021 and I have been to FIVE different salons, feeling "meh" or "ok" with my cut, but not totally happy. I keep my hair short, in a textured bob, sometimes with an undercut, changing the style/length a little sometimes. Dee did exactly what I wanted and was super nice to work with. She kept checking in with me and asking my preference on things. If you have short hair and need a talented stylist, she is it!

My wife had her hair cut (a short fade) by Nelly, and loves it.

I like the atmosphere here too. It's laid back, in an awesome part of town. Highly recommend Makeshift Union.

Book with Naomi! Visited Vegas over the week and Yelp searched a salon to get some work done. Originally was scheduled with another stylist but was rescheduled with Naomi and we are beaming with gratitude!! Naomi made us feel like we were friends from the moment she approached us and introduced herself. I swear it's like we knew each other! So personable and very knowledgeable on her craft! She really knows hair and everything about it.
I love that she gave me some consultation on my hair before starting on it. When she was done and I looked in the mirror, I swear I was given a new head of hair. It looked healthy, my curls never looked so full, the color was lush and shiny, omgee!!! She worked her magica and I came out looking and feeling like a million bucks!! She also worked on my daughter's hair and BOOM!! Transformation at its best! If ever in Vegas, Naomi at Makeshift is a must!! You're gonna want to thank me for this review when she's done with your hair needs!

My cousin is special needs and they made her experience amazing! They accidentally got her t shirt wet and immediately gave her a new t shirt on the house. It was her first experience in a "real" salon and I think she had an absolute blast! From the customer service to the actual service it was. 15/10 experience for the both of us and I was just watching!
