Moran is the man. He's knowledgeable, fair and a straight-shooter. We went to another reputable jeweler and didn't necessarily like his approach nor his feedback as the GIA said otherwise, so we were happy to go with Moran and give him our business in selling our diamond.

We definitely appreciate Moran for his time and his appraisal, and we would go back to him in a heartbeat.

I am soooo, soooo, late at leaving this review, but better late than never I hope! I had a beautiful diamond from my ex husband. I kept it in a jewelry box for about 4 years or so. One day I realized that made no sense, so I started researching buyers. Out of all the buyers I met with, Moran was by far the most knowledgeable and gave the fairest price. He didn't pressure me at all to sell. It was clear that he was more interested in making sure he provided the knowledge necessary for me to be able to make the most informed decision about selling. He's a stand up guy... 5 star experience!

Moran was friendly, professional and gave me a fair price for inherited jewelry I was never going to wear. He respects your time by scheduling an appointment and will explain the specialized tools and process he uses. He's truly as trustworthy expert in this field.

Moran made selling my wedding rings an easy and pleasant experience! He is quite knowledgeable, spent ample time looking at my rings and gave me what I feel is an honest assessment of value. While my items weren't as valuable as I'd hoped, I appreciated the explanation Moran gave, which made me comfortable with knowing I was receiving a fair offer. He is very kind and straightforward and it is nice to have appointments set rather than walking into a place and waiting to talk to someone. If ever I need to sell jewelry again, Moran will be the first person I call. I can't recommend him enough.

He will not accept any diamonds with fluorescence on them. I purchased my ring from a reputable source, top notch diamond colorless and hardly any impurities. 1.5 Carat, color grade D and VS1 clarity... he did say he would give me an offer but that I would like it (probably bc it was going to be low). Take your diamonds elsewhere.

Meh, paid way less than what only 2 of the items I sold. Should have walked out, but not bold enough, unfortunately.

Tried going to his location in Austin and there is no store what so ever and will not answer his phone when he says he is open.

I was looking to sell some scrap and I saw that M.I. Trading had good reviews. Made an inquiry by email and was given a quick call back. Moran had me come in an hour later.
He was very nice and was able to make a quote fairly quickly. He was very professional.
It was a great experience and I felt the offer was extremely fair.
I've sold gold scrap before and come away from other places feeling negative, but not here. It was totally a positive experience and I will only go here from now on for this sort of thing.
