My nails were in desperate need to get done, It was Mid August and the eclipse had just passed. This is the only place in town that I found that did the Dip Powder nails.

They didn't take long, and the price was right on point with what I paid back home. My nails turned out looking good too.

      Fresh powder dip manicure.

First time coming here. Desperately needed a pedi. Robert was very gentle and always asking if anything hurt while he was working on my in grown toenail. It usually hurts like hell anytime anyone tries to cut it down. He was awesome. The atmosphere is outdated and they only accept cash...but were very accommodating when I said I would have to run to the bank. My feet look and feel fabulous.

Henry and Terri have done my nails several times. Staff is friendly and my acrylic with gel color last 3+ weeks and looks great

One of the most negative experiences I've ever had. Materials for the very basic service looked used and boards were extremely rough and not suitable for a mani OR pedi. Ruined my nail edge on almost every nail. Application of the base coat was not complete on any nail and was very thick - maybe too old. When payment was due the owner requested full price which I felt was nowhere near the service received and I refused. I also always leave a generous tip for any service I receive because I appreciate someone taking care of me but in this case it was not performed to even minimal acceptance so none was left.
Would not recommend this business ever and my rating is NO STAR but yelp requires at least one...

I had the misfortune of dealing with the owners' teenage daughter. Apparently she gets her personality from her father. She was nasty to me and my 6 year old daughter. Seriously rude - as though we were an annoyance to be in her presence. We waited for about 10 minutes and I had to purposefully pretend like I didn't notice her horrible behavior in an effort to be sure my child didn't feel the evil radiating from that angry girl. I didn't have any interaction with the aforementioned rude father, but I did see a client walk away from his table and roll her eyes at his work on her nails.

The lady who did my daughter's nails was very pleasant and did a great job. Steve did my nails and was also very pleasant but my nails are just ok. I've had better manicures, but I'm not too concerned as long as the gel stays on for a while.

I didn't see any obvious signs requesting cash or check only (although I wasn't looking for them), but thank goodness I had a random checkbook in my purse (hello 1990s), so I was able to pay. I think it's a pretty ridiculous policy to not accept credit in 2017.

I'm not surprised that this place is still in business - it's really the only walk-in place in town. I encourage another nail salon to open in Cashiers. If they accept credit and are kind to their clientele, MC Nails will be shuttered in a matter of weeks.

So, we read the reviews and almost didn't go in but our toenails begged us to please go in so we did. The two ladies we had were very nice but agree the owner seemed like a grouch. Our pedicures were totally fine- probably not the best but I would definitely go if your nails need a touch up and a great leg massage.

I'm visiting here in Cashiers and need a fill. I read the reviews and since I was at Starbucks, I figured I'll go see if he's not as rude. Wrong. That was the most uncomfortable experience walking into a business for the first time. I wear stiletto nails (pointy) and I asked how much for a fill. He said No! No what? You won't do a fill? He said I don't do designs. I said, I just want a fill. How much for just a fill? He said $27 and he has no time. (There was one person there) No eye contact, short responses, ..just plain rude. No thanks. I'd rather my nails fall off before I go there. Hopefully they'll last till I get home next week, where fills are $15 and they DO designs. I'm a business owner myself and can't believe his doors are still open.

My friend and I arrived at 5 pm on a Monday asking for a pedicure. We had read the review and were a bit apprehensive. They were fabulous! They did an excellent job and were so pleasant and friendly.

I am in town for the week and needed a place to have my nails done. Found this place online and by driving by Ingles. We arrived to the location and there was only one employee to provide services for 2 manicures and 1 pedicure. When we arrived the owner said his wife was at a doctor appointment and made it seem as though she would be returning to help him with our reservation. My Aunt began with her manicure and I waited for my pedicure. The wait wasn't very long. The building was cold and the water was lukewarm. My original request included shellac but when I noticed the owner had difficulty removing my previous shellac pedicure I had a feeling the services would not meet my expectations. He removed my shellac paint, trimmed my nails and did a poor job of removing my dry cuticles. He finished with a clear coat of paint. I was charged 40 dollars despite requesting for the original pedicure price of 32 dollars. None of the instruments were wrapped and sterile appearing to be used. He didn't wear gloves or wash his hand when going between customers. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Please don't waste your money at this establishment.
