M.A.C. Cosmetics

I love this MAC store. Located inside of the Charlotte International Airport - American Airlines between Food Court toward terminal D & E. The staff has always been very friendly and taken the time to help me with beauty product selection. Store opens around 6am, so when traveling on business it is very helpful. It can get quite busy, and they don't have enough people working at all times, so keep that in mind.

Stopped there on my departure flight for a quick powder foundation since I didn't have time for liquid. I dont wear Mac, but Makeup "pro" matched me to NC58, which was much too dark. I told him so, and was subsequently matched to NW50. Once I got in actual lighting it was clear that the color was again, dark and muddy. I should have known this was wrong given the purported pros makeup was equally horrible. For reference, my actual color was NC45...so I was matched 13 shades off first, and then at least 5. Took it back when I reached home three days later and the sales associate said "you approved it when you purchased it, didn't you." I said yes, I was in a rush and trying to get to checkin but I don't want a refund, just an even exchange for the proper color. No where in the store or on the receipt was no refunds or exchanges indicated. They refused an exchange, so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was available via phone and was the most rude person I have ever encountered in a customer service position. It was absolutely shocking. After some discussion "you agreed to purchase it didn't you?" they hung up on me after telling the associate that the product could be exchanged but marked "no returns." Well thats fine because I will never (ever) return and will advise everyone else not to as well. MAC corporate would do well to see what their contractors (apparently an airport contractor runs this store) are doing to their customers.

I'd leave zero stars if I could. The customer service is very poor. Serious attitude problem from the workers there every time I shop at this location while I'm on my layovers. They make you feel like you're bothering them while asking for products or help with finding your shade. This store needs one help with customer service!

The gal named CAT is beyond amazing! so friendly, introduced me to different products that I didn't know about and she's so knowledable! thank you for your service and I hope I get to see you again! great location too!

I went into this location after a flight to pick up some setting spray.. I walked into location and I saw a worker on the phone.. I walked around full store before she said anything still on the phone.. no greeting, no hello....At this point I'm by register and she says can I help you?? But, it wasn't pleasant.. almost as if I worked for her or she was doing me a favor!! Her name was either chairmane or something with a C or something like that short blonde hair and brown tone.... I promise this kind of customer service is why I online shop!! These companies need real training in customer service...... I politely walked out and didn't purchase anything at all

I'm so annoyed with the MAC store in the Charlotte airport! I've given them multiple chances to purchase a ton of different items but they are ALWAYS sold out. It's especially annoying when it's all on display but they don't have anything - I'm not a retail genius but whoever orders their inventory needs to get a new job - not okay....ugh!

Wow, I am a long time Mac customer and have never received the icy reception that I did in this store. Apparently the people working there are too busy to help, even with no other customers present. First time ever I walked out of a Mac without buying anything.

the people who work there were incredibly rude and yelled at people (including myself) for TRYING ON makeup testers...apparently they don't let you do it yourself and in order to browse, a salesperson has to follow you around and apply it for you. very odd.
