Luzzi's Hibernia Inn

This steak is great. The calamari is great. Salad is great. Small bar, family atmosphere, small dining room. Great vodka sauce. Service was attentive but we went when there wasn't many people that night. Give it a shot and get "THE BRICK" steak!

Greatest Food , unique dishes with very special sauces to accommodate, very professional staff and full Bar , highly recommend the Robert Mondovi Cab with Brick steak. Fish dish the potato crusted Grouper.

Good customer service but start is ranked on food.

We ordered pick up from there the other night and the portions were so small for their appetizers for the price. Wish I knew that. I ordered 2 apps the puff pastry and the cosmopolitan and for about 30$ was barley any food.

We just went to Luzzi's Hibernia Inn for their Prime Rib night. They do it 4-5 times per year. All I can say is AMAZING!! The Prime Rib was to die for, the service was superb,,and the portion was so big, I had enough for lunch the next day. Danny Luzzi is usually there making sure everything is perfect and as usual it was. We will be back for the next one... This is probably our favorite restaurant. We have been going there for years and I always get the Shrimp Parmesan. An amazing dish. You have to try the Mozzarella , Roasted peppers and caramelized onions. Its an appetizer that is through the roof. The house salad is served ice cold and the plates are frozen... I've never seen that in any other restaurant.

Even if you are not close to Hibernia (North of Rockaway NJ) NJ, it is worth the trip!!!

Had a decent meal. There were definitely some service issues but nothing too terrible. However, someone from the staff ruined our evening by complaining about the tip that we left. My party was asked if there was something wrong with the meal. When we asked why they were asking, it was brought to our attention that we left a tip lower than their average. We asked what their average was and was told that it was 22-23%. Sorry, we left a regular tip. Nothing to write home about but nothing low enough that we should be questioned about our motives.

We had a very lovely evening with friends only to be ruined at the end because we didn't leave an extra $8-$10. You lost 6 customers because of $8-$10.

If you wanted to get an idea about why we didn't leave a larger tip, than instead maybe ask us "How was the meal?" instead of "Was there something wrong with the meal"?

Food and service fantastic. I've had veal piccata all over the world and this was as good as it gets. Wife had shrimp and scallops Toscana and it was good enough to be a dessert. Waitress was first class. A very romantic and warm dining experience.

Luzzi's is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, the staff and owner are very kind and gracious, and the overall atmosphere and experience is wonderful

Delicious food, as always. Ordered take out because of covid (I am high risk and immunocompromised) and quality and taste matched what you get sitting down inside. I ordered the shrimp scampi app, which is so delicious. Also got the homemade mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and caramelized onions. Needed a touch of salt but everything was just so good. For my entree I got the Parisienne steak, cooked medium well just as I like it. Could have used a bit more flavor but this was also delicious.
Penne vodka is the best I've had and the Caesar Salad was great.

Definitely will be frequenting during the never ending pandemic.

Rude drunk owner.

My family and I went here to celebrate the 6 month anniversary of my brothers life saving liver transplant and the owner, who was clearly drunk, followed my brother from the bathroom to our table harassing him about wearing a hat inside.

He wears the hat because he lost his hair from the medication he's taking.

Would not recommend going here unless you want a drunk to harass you about outdated insignificant customs.

Food was ok. Bit overpriced.

We were so impressed with the food here! It was pricey, but it was worth it. We had the chicken Rasputin, Steak Arrabbiata, and a strip steak. Everything's as good beyond our expectations!

Our server was patient as we spent a long time at the table and chatted over wine.

They also gave us a homemade chocolate bark for a complimentary dessert, it was delicious.

This will become a go-to place to bring guests when they come to town.
