Great dive spot in Midlothian for delicious burgers, fries, milkshakes & more!

Luther Burger is a joint business with Sugar Shack Donuts, so if you're not familiar with the area, you may spot the sign for Sugar Shack first.

Luther Burger offers a variety of burger options including beef, turkey, and vegan patties, so you are sure to find something to please anyone with any dietary needs (also gluten free options!)

Staff was super friendly and helpful to explain what type of donuts were available in the case, and to ensure our order was correct and out to us in a timely manner.

There are a few tables inside as well as a decent amount of outside seating to take advantage of on a nice day.

Food portions were generous and well worth the price we paid! We will definitely be back when on that side of town!

We have visited this location for just donuts before, but we went back for burgers, and I'm so glad we did! We got the burgers "Luther style" (with a donut bun), and they were incredibly delicious. Everything is very personalize-able, and they have vegan burgers AND donut options! The cashier was extremely kind as well, which made our experience even better. I'll have to try their local coffee next (roasted in Hopewell!). We'll definitely be back.

I heard about this place from a friend so my wife and I decided to stop in and try it.
FIrst off, it is not easy to find. This will help- it is inside of the donut shop. They are one in the same- the sign for the donuts is fairly easy to see but not the burger sign.
There is adequate parking as well.
We stopped in around 1 pm on a Saturday. They were actually selling more donuts than burgers... not sure if that is the norm or not. I got the regular burger combo. The burger and fries were good although a little slow coming out..
The eat in area is pretty small. I think that this location is set up as mainly a to go clientele. THere are about 6 small tables and chairs around the front of the counter. It looks like they may be doing a renovation as there is one side blocked off partially with some wood.
I am rarely on Southside so I am sure I will not be here often, but I would get the fries again for sure... they were good.

I have no idea what the hype is all about. I ate there and had a mediocre over done dry burger. My friends kept telling me this place was so awesome so I went back a few weeks later. Again, overdone mediocre burger. Seriously I can cook this well at home

This is a great place for vegan and beef burgers. Also, fresh donuts. They have vegan donuts, too.

Luther Burger is THE place to go! A super chill casual vibe with good customer service.

Obviously if you go you have to try the Luther burger donut burger. This place is always a good option if you're looking for something fattening. Their shakes and fries are phenomenal. The plus for me is that they have plenty of vegan options!

What a nice place! Clean and really good burgers! They also have a really cool variety of donuts too!

Do not order through GrubHub. Terrible service and rudeness after discovering that orders placed through the app are invisible to them and they require you to show in person with proof of payment before even starting on the order. This obviously defeats the entire purpose of ordering ahead. Employee was super defensive and basically said if you don't like it you can leave cause you wont be getting any food here. Never returning.

I've tried this place now 2 times just for doughnuts. The staff was friendly but not helpful. I don't plan on ever going back again. The doughnuts all seem stale like they were made the day prior. Or the ingredients just sat out that long before being put to use. The doughnuts all look good. No vanilla cream stuffed options ( my favorite) on the menu.

I didn't have the nerve to try the burger on a doughnut when I visited, but it's on my to-do list, perhaps the next time I'm in town to visit my mother. She, too, is generally up for any sort of culinary adventure out there and we can share one.

But honestly, what to say? It's a solid burger joint. This isn't a place to come for wild burger variants, they do a reasonably small collection of things and they do it quite well. The same goes for the chicken, the fries, the pizza... and of course the doughnuts. It's a nice, laid-back place for a lunch out or even a super chill date, and it's easy to go grab a drink or a sweet if you finish up your food and are still thirsty or nibbly. Definitely check it out.
