I loved every second of my trip to Alaska, and this is one of the places that added to my time there. It reminded me of a little deli, mixed in with a bookstore. We had the clam chowder, the sandwich of the day, and I purchased several breakfast cookies to bring back to Texas.
The clam chowder was exceptional, it was so fresh and full of seafood. The pesto sandwich was delicious, and the leftovers were even better. The breakfast cookies are also sold at a local coffee shop, I had one every morning with my tea. Yeah, they're that delicious and they're vegan!
If you live or are visiting that area, this is one you want to add to your list. Make sure you check out their hours, this is something you'll want to do during the daytime hours.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 15, 2021
I love their selection of cheeses. I bought Leyden cheese and a little bit of Mango Ginger Stilton, both for snacking. We were shopping about lunch time so we bought a grilled cheese special sandwich to share, and a caramel pecan cinnamon roll that is baked just once a week. There are lots of condiments and seasonings available, too.

I Love Lucy's!! Delicious coffee and teas served in delightful mugs. Scones on Saturday. Croissants on Tuesday and Friday....All yummy and not "sicky" sweet!!! Such a lovely way to take a break and relax in a calm space surrounded by books and nice people.

Love the food and market. Love that health tastes sooooo good. My 3 year old nephew loves all the soups and would eat there every day if he could.

I bought a loaf of their sourdough and can't stop raving about it. It's awesome, worth a stop to pick up a loaf and some cold cuts for a good lunch if you're packing out for a hike, boat tour or fishing trip. Or just want a loaf for dinner. Really, really great bread.

Products here are generally very good and high quality. I have purchased several cheese trays and the first couple were very good, but the last one had several moldy figs. This cheese tray cost close to $90. I placed a call into the market and the employee, told me that I was wrong and there was not mold on the figs. I explained that I had pictures and saved the product for them to see, and she insisted that I was incorrect. They made no attempt at correcting the situation. I hate to say it because I really liked this place, but if they will not stand behind their product, I will not be back

Excellent customer service, the staff was friendly and quick to serve. Got the black bean and rice soup, it was tasty and came with a nice slice of homemade bread. Overall the portion was large and made a perfect size lunch.

Went to see what the new place in Soldotna was all about and had my mind blown. The best artisanal fresh baked breads, fine selection of decadent cheeses, fancy olives, hummus made in house, and various healthy delicious salads, spreads, drinks! Suck a fabulous addition the peninsula! I have a picnic at Clam Gulch with my smoked salmon, hummus, olives, and a fresh loaf of crusty bread. Lucy's Market had me eating like a king for my camping trip. Worth checking out if you are in Soldotna for sure.
