Great place, good atmosphere, tons of fun! The awesome retro interior alone is worth going there for, but the good food and drink make it even better. Such a fun night out & the staff is great!

I had an okay experience the first time I went here so I recommended we go here again. A man that looked strung out was really rude and had a poor attitude. The machine to enter bowling information is terrible and barely works. Bathroom is a mess, no locks on their doors. No AC, they had to pull out a big fan that didn't do much. My bowling ball was roughed up by their lanes.
What really sealed the deal was receiving a call that I had to get home immediately for. We had just paid for a new game and hadn't started. They refused to refund. I won't be returning here.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1 - Vicente C.Albuquerque, NM01Mar 29, 2018
This is by far the worst bowling experience we have had this far!!!!! The worst staff ever who are rude as hell and have NO customer service!! We had major malfunctions with our lane and they didn't want to fix our problem! Old ass people, old ass lanes, and a old ass alley!!!! Don't waste your time!!!! Very unsatisfying!

This place is a disaster from the staff, to the lanes. The lanes are so old you can hear the ball roll over the wood cracks. The shoe rental is awkward as you must leave a shoe for every pair you rent and the rental fee. The lane malfunctioned for about 25% of the time we bowled. There was no extra time or apology. The maintenance guy was the only plus. He was fast and friendly. The cost for the bowing was commensurate to the Main Event a hot new spot. I do not recommend!

It was okay it was a good day to go bowling and also a good time is 3-4. It was not packed at all. The balls we needed were close by but most were broken on the inside. It was a fun family activity to do.

Came her for a fun family/faculty bowling get together and for the most part it was fun. Yes, yes there was a little hubbub by some once learning they'd have to ransom up one of their own shoes whilst a pair of "house shoes" were rendered...no biggie. I'm sure they have their reasons and hark!?! - My shoe returned to me, after Returning the house shoes of course, unharmed, happy and absent of any feelings of discontent. :). And for those unaccustomed to this sort of "shoe swapping" practice...this isn't the first place I've ever encountered that practiced such a ritual...no sir. In fact, Not far from where I grew up, there were bowling alleys (as we called them) that required this sort of thing too...even way way back in 1986!!!
Was the facility old? Yes. Were there peculiar oddities here and there? Yes. Did we however, get good service? Yes. Did they accommodate our group of 40 even though they were also slammed with many other equally paying patrons? Yes. Were we all happy in the end and did we have fun??? Yes!!
It's a bowling alley, and like many other bowling alleys across this lovely country of ours, they all unfortunately have shortcomings. Ugly shoes, dirty carpets, noise, eating food without washing hands after touching your ball a few hundred times...ah yes...good times....good times - Wouldn't trade it for the world. :)
At the end of the day, we all had fun and we'd do it again. Bowling to me is definitely one of those things you can easily forget how much fun it can be until you're actually doing it...well, if you want to that is :).

These guys have the weirdest shoe rental policy. I dunno, maybe it used to be the norm back in the day, but I've never encountered it: to get your bowlin' shoes, you give 'em one of your street shoes. That's, like, the deposit. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around it. I just...
So I should stipulate that this review is meant for the 'rents, those of us who feel inspired to introduce the Great Game of The Bowling to our kiddos on one of those crappy New Mexican days when the wind is whippin' up tumbleweeds and we only have so many options available. We chose Lucky 66 Bowl. Poor choice. So many reasons. And just weird reasons, like the shoes, or the parking lot, or how the air hockey game only accepted tokens, and we weren't allowed tokens because there was a birthday party happening -- although nobody was playing air hockey.
The lightest bowling ball we could find, for our six year-old, was a five-pounder. She hoisted gutter balls, two-handed, endlessly, so did her friends, even though the gutters were blocked. She actually cried a few times. The automated system -- you know, that screen overhead that tells you the score -- it didn't work right. Numbers are vital with the whole bowling ordeal, and the numbers were often wrong. Look, I'll own that my kid has an unhealthy competitive streak. But bowling shouldn't make a kid cry. There's no crying. There's no crying in BOWLING.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 17Oh no 0 - SP C.Albuquerque, NM021Jan 8, 2017
I spent over 100.00 bucks for cold food, the order not correct, and a lane that didn't work properly. I enjoyed this place as kid. I will never take my kids back!

The lanes are old even though they supposedly redid them. They Don't reset most of the time.
Don't even get me started on the food. You order items and they come back later to tell you they are out of stuff. Stay away from the grilled cheese. 1 slice of cheese is all you get.
Stay away if you can.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
