This small business definitely deserves your attention! we contracted them to install a large, raised-bed garden with stone pathway and arbor over the entrance. We also had them install a special underground fence to keep out the resident groundhog and tall fencing to keep out the deer. They were very responsive to all of our detail-oriented questions. The quality of their work, especially the higher end details, exceeded our expectations. The level of craftsmanship of their crew is outstanding. They worked hard and brought joy. We truly believe they were worth every dollar. Excellent value!

Had a phenomenal experience working with Love & Carrots for my new raised bed garden. This was the 3rd or 4th contractor I received a quote from and have been researching solutions for over a year. It's clear the team at Love & Carrots is knowledgeable and dedicated. They provided amazing customer customer service, resources, ideas and most importantly a seem less execution of the final product!

The L&C team was responsive, thorough, and professional. They built a retaining wall for me that looks great!

Heard a lot of good things about this company but was very disappointed. I paid for a "consultation" to design a flower garden for my balcony and was ready to give them carte blanche. But Love & Carrots told me AFTER accepting the consultation that they did not want to maintain a balcony garden because it was for flowers, not vegetables. Love & Carrots charged me several hundred dollars for a "design consultation" that included a layout of Veradek planters that would have leaked on my neighbor's balcony below. The planters they chose don't even come with trays. For me, this was a disappointing waste of money and time.

After 20+ years of hit or miss results with our happy homeowner garden, my wife, the gardener, decided we needed to call the experts and renovate our tired vegetable garden. We were very lucky to come across Love & Carrots. We have been so impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the entire Love & Carrots organization from the very first consultation to the final build. They incorporated our request into their proven design. Moreover, Love & Carrots addressed some key features into the design elements such as incorporating an irrigation system into the vegetable beds and fencing to both address alpha deers and tunneling critters. The crew and workmanship is superb. My old garden and fencing was carefully removed and the sod for the new footprint was salvaged with a special machine. All the posts, lumber, and gate hardware was of highest quality. Cedar was used boxes and perimeter edging boards. Everything was squared and leveled. Meticulous workmanship. I could easily build a barn over the structure Solid carpentry work. I highly recommend Love & Carrots. I have worked with Love & Carrots on landscaping in front of my business for years, and recently partnered with them for a large job at my home. I was completely blown away by the work they did designing and installing a truly magical woodland garden. From the consultation through the design and execution, they were prompt, professional, creative and receptive to input. Never showed up to our consultation appointment after I rearranged my schedule to make the time that THEY suggested work. Not cool, and bizarre considering they wanted to charge for the consult. But good to know from the get go that reliability is an issue. Disappointing because I've been a fan for years and was excited to work with them.

I will certainly call on them again. I don't know diddly about things like gardening. I lived in apartments for most of my life. This lmade it hard for me to explain what I wanted, and led to a wobbly start.

I'm committed to using native plants when possible, and providing a decent environment for native animals. So Love and Carrots' core values meshed with mine.

The first project was just finished - the development of a pollinator's meadow and shade/rain garden. The area is part of a slope that heads into Sligo Creek, so erosion is a concern.

The team was small and accomplished way more than I expected could be done in two days. They were terrific and taught me a few things as well.

Two days after they left, we had some heavy rain - and the entire new area held up far better than I dared to hope. Can you wonder why I want to work with them again...

Love and Carrots installed a new garden in my front and back yard this spring and I can't say enough good things about them. Meredith initially came out to see our space and listened to all of my scattered thoughts about rocks and succulents and native pollinators. She designed a space so beautiful that our neighbors have also started using her services, and everyone who walks by asks for her card.
And in our backyard, Meredith designed a perimeter of vegetable boxes and we've been eating out of them for weeks. Meredith's team was professional, fast, clean and courteous.

We were impressed with them from the first visit when Meredith came for a site visit and was immediately able to determine the best location for the garden, as well as how to manage soil pH conditions.There are a lot of moving parts after the initial assessment, and the office staff was always enthusiastic, professional and responsive. There was a lot of back-and-forth to help us figure out what would work best for us, and they never tired of researching alternatives for us to consider and offering helpful advice.

For installation, the plant beds were expertly built, and the team measured everything carefully, using levels and taking extreme care to make everything perfect, including the installation of the dual-channel irrigation system. The extra effort shows. Because we live in a neighborhood with old-growth trees, we have a limited area where there is enough sun for the garden. That spot happens to be in our front yard, so we cared a great deal about how the garden would look. We were so excited to see the result, and are very proud of our garden!

We have more kinds of vegetables than I have had in the past, so I opted to have coaching this season. I had my first session with Morgan this morning and learned so much within the space of 1.5 hours - she's amazing! We also enjoyed the first fruits of our harvest for dinner. There's nothing like the freshness of just-picked produce. This experience is quickly becoming the highlight of our summer!
