Absolutely the best owner and staff around .
They have the best bands and greatest crowds anywhere !

Came here once meeting up with friends and had a decent time. Drinks were well made and decently priced. There was a large outdoor area, live music and an older clientele. Though not everyone's cup of tea I see the appeal of this place and why it's such a popular spot for a nice social outing.

Hi friends & family -

This passed Friday night my boyfriend & I were put through the most discriminating expirience of our lives here in our very own Fayetteville, NC. Went to a local bar here with one of our friends for some drinks. I hadn't heard of it actually, it's called Louie's Sports Pub. it seemed like a pretty good idea at the time. we started into the bar, grabbed a few drinks and headed out to the backyard area where they have a pretty large stage which a band performs covers of various artists.

The environment seemed pretty casual, everyone seemed to be having a good time. Majority of the crowd was pretty intoxicated, as it was already around 11PM. we were there for a little over an hour & a few drinks in. Singing along to some songs that the band played, relaxing, and having good conversation. We even talked to a few people around us who were totally awesome and accepting.

After a while I sat down, Andrew was standing up and I had an arm around him, randomly gave him a kiss or two because he's my boyfriend & I'm certainly allowed to. Out of no where this woman (who later we find out is the owner of the bar) comes up to us in a combatively demanding manor & tells Andrew he needs to back up off of me this very second, stating "Do what you'd like on your own time but not here. This is NOT right!" confused, we told her we weren't doing anything wrong & that we were not going to back up off of one another, we are paying customers just like everyone else. She said she had gotten numerous complaints about us from her clientele that night & continued on how she was 'okay with it' she just couldn't have it at her bar. Which by the way she approached us and was speaking to us, you could clearly tell she was not okay with us being gay.

With my arm still around Andrew I gave him a kiss and she proceeded to get louder, yelling and cursing proceeded by telling us "it's time to leave, get the hell out of my bar & if ya don't I'm gunna have security beat the shit out of ya & throw ya out." Based on her disappointing attitude before all that was even said we had already decided we were going to finish our drinks and leave. She proceeds immediately grabbing her security guards attention and telling him we need to be taken out of the establishment now.

Both Andrew & I told the security guard we'd see ourselves out & our girlfriend was left to pay her tab and meet us out in the parking lot after. While in the parking lot waiting by my car trying to get ahold of what just actually happened the owner comes back out with a look of rage on her face because she had seen us standing OUTSIDE of the bar.

She runs back into the bar (assuming based off of the extra security guard that showed up to the backyard exit of the establishment, along with the one that was already there watching us) she obviously went & told them to make sure we leave or to get rid of us.

Both of the guards see us talking with our girlfriend saying our goodbyes & used their better judgement & left the situation alone.

In conclusion, I'm posting this only because I wanted everyone I know to know how disgusting and bigoted of an establishment we surprisingly have here in our very own community of Fayetteville, North Carolina. I have never experienced this amount of hate in my entire 25 years of living and hate that the one time I have a visitor, he receives this type of welcome. I would never want you, your family, or friends have to ever deal with this hateful heartless close minded bigot Pam Griffen and her "establishment" Louie's Sports Pub.

It's a shame because I could have actually really helped her out a lot with that hair and makeup.

This is a great place to drink, play pool, Keno and enjoy yourself. The bartenders are friendly and are the best in town. You'll meet great people who I think have never met a stranger. Sit outside and drink at the Tiki Bar and have a smoke. Inside is pool tables, darts, TV and more fun. Special are on the board everyday and live music on most weekends.

The best gay and transgender bar in town. I'm from out of town and didn't think that your town had a place for us to go but here you go.

Drinks and service pretty much suck but the gay boys are plentiful! Some pretty Transgender girls too.

I went here to have a beer and listen to some live music. This is an ok laid back kinda hang out. Pool tables are here and a little bit of a rowdy crowd. I am a single woman and I felt safe here. The age group in here varies but the nice thing is there are plenty of people in here my age! I'd come back to check out another band soon.

A horrible, filthy bar full of rude staff. I did not feel safe here. There is a definite "rapey" vibe going on here.. watch your drink! I will never return to this terrible place with watered down drinks.

Not my kind of place. I did not enjoy the food or drinks. The bartender was rude to me and my friend. I really wanted to like this place, but I will not go back.

Stopped in, admittedly because of the news, while on a business trip today. The prior reviews are spot on. The beer is flat (suspect that the lines need changing and the taps are a bit far from the fridge) and not cold enough. The food was mostly prepared from previously frozen. I will say the salad dressing, 1000 Island, was outstanding.

The staff was harried, no doubt the extra attention has them on edge and worn out. I avoided the obvious conversation, ate and got out. Overall, service was adequate, everything else was below average. Could have been cleaner, but it is a bar.

having an awesome time. Live music. The band is Third Degree and they are amazing! Wow killing it! Never heard these guys but they are rocking the house. Small bar good drinks friendly atmosphere. Couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy a Saturday night. Check it out
