Lotus Massage

We had a great experience. Easy to communicate preferences and the massage exceeded our expectations. The masseuse was confident and the stretches incorporated were phenomenal. Comfortable massage table.

Absolutely loved this place. Great prices, quick to schedule and very friendly staff. I'll certainly be coming back to this place soon :)

If you're looking for a cheap, non luxurious but spectacular massage, then Lotus Massage is it!!

We came in for a deep tissue couples massage for $120 total (not including tip) and walked out feeling wonderful!! Our massage therapists were friendly and had strong hands!! Alicia did a killer job on the BF and made sure to check on him often. He couldn't stop raving about his massage after! I'm getting her next time! My massage therapist was Linda (?) and she did a great job too! Wayyyy better than the last two massages I had.

Keep in mind that this is a very quaint, but clean place - the rooms weren't fully enclosed so there was an open space near the ceiling (check out one of my photos for a better idea). We could also hear people walking up and down the hallway and even the toilet flushing nearby. If you can look past that and don't need 100% peace and quiet like me to stay relaxed, then the massage itself will be worth it!

Our only other gripe was that they were taking a few phone calls during the massage. Alicia later apologized and said it was a really busy morning. Again not a big deal. We are definitely coming back regardless! (:

Nightmare massage.

After a high recommendation for Alicia on the neighborhood app, I called early in the morning (7:30) and was surprised Alicia picked up the phone.

She asked me what time I'd like to come in. We decided on 10 a.m.

Everything started out great. About five minutes into the massage, Alicia's cell goes off. She answers the call and conducts appt business. That really did not bother me that much at the time.

Then she instantly proceeds to try to get me to have Jason take over the massage, citing the reason as she is the one that has to answer the phone and that there would be more interruptions and that lots of clients request Jason. Ugh.

So I agree to Jason. Quickly I can tell Jason obviously has a language barrier. After a couple minutes he starts massaging deep into my spine. Directly on the bone. That's kind of Massage Therapy 101, don't do deep pressure directly on the spine. Alicia told me before she walked out how good he is and that she trained him herself.

So I ask Jason to bring Alicia back. I explain the spine thing. I've gotten very sick once before after I allowed deep "tissue" on my spine at another massage shop. It's not "deep spine."

Anyway, I ended up calling a stop to the 90-minute massage at an hour as I knew if he hadn't already hurt me, he was going to. I also was uncomfortable a couple times with hand placement and my privacy. I'm not easily offended ever during a massage.

Alicia told me I didn't have to tip. I hadn't even gotten to that point yet. Although I always tip, that wasn't going to happen for a second. I was going to pay $60. for a nightmare.

I do believe Alicia is probably a great massage therapist, except for the fact that she's also the front receptionist. I will not be returning.

I felt very welcomed when I arrived. The masseurs here are very polite and listen to your needs on where you need a massage. The location is very clean and comforting. The prices are fair for what they offer. I would recommend if you need a massage in the area.

Alicia is awesome but she has moved out of state and office is now closed permanently.

I've been to pretty much every massage place in town. I feel like a lot are a hit or miss each time. It's unfortunate when you're spending money & you leave dissatisfied. Not the case here at all. I only go to Alicia. She's amazing. She always takes care of me and I ALWAYS leave feeling better. She's an angel, I'm sooooo happy I found her. She always checks with me she is doing good pressure and asks if I'm happy. Highly recommend her!! She's the best around:)

Alicia is the best! Always has a smile and always delivers a quality, PROFESSIONAL, massage. I wanted to express professional because this isnt one of those places. My girl and i go to Alicia exclusively because of her top notch, quality massage work and her professional work ethic.
