Amazing service amazing food everything tasted so good. This fell on the eve of a very rough night, and it was perfect for what I needed.

This restaurant is very cheerful, reasonably priced, with ample portions and great food. The service was excellent, and I enjoyed my carnitas torta. Although the carnitas were a bit salty, I find this is par for the course, and they were good tasting even so. I really like family owned and local businesses that provide great products and service, and again, the food was very good, very tasty. The torture cost me $10.45 plus tax. There is outdoor seating and some comfortable chairs inside as well.
Unfortunately, the visit ended on a sour note when the taller counter attendant with the straight black hair, some of it in her face, questioned my motives in writing a positive review! The other attendant, less tall and with braids, was very nice.
Accordingly, I lowered the rating to three stars. - 1052282324/28/2022
This place is definitely great to dine in and enjoy some quality food.
Carne Asada Fries 5/5: Enjoyed the fresh fries and great quality food! I would highly recommend try these out.
Salsa Bar 5/5: Such a great addiction to experience as they have a large selection of salsa and very tasty.
Seating 5/5: Plenty of seating inside and outside. Can't complain.
Overall 5/5: Would recommend stopping by. - Vincent I.San Diego, CA811632/19/2023
Went last night because we were craving good Mexican food and my brother was in town. About 9:45pm and the lobby was closed to we decided wel come back in the am and go to Dennys instead. It's usually a really good spot. The Machaca burrito is fire and todays was fantastic. I also got a California burrito and the meat is usually really tender and flavorful. Today was crunchy over cooked left over meat so I'm disappointed.

Given the fact, this review was done during a time of super-high inflation going on in the United States, I cannot say if their price for what I ordered was either expensive or reasonable.
My part time second job is close by to this restaurant so whenever I crave a ceviche tostada, this is my only GO-TO place! I always order a Tostada Loca. Its the BEST! Loaded with all the shrimp, sliced avocados, fish, and mussels. The only drawback is the limited amount of tostada shells they give me. I often will ask for at least 6. Me, I prefer as many as I can! - Sergio S.CA, CA7256123/19/2023
Prices are a bit higher than what's posted on here but that breakfast burrito is bomb!

Is there a 6 starts? I would more if I have it. This is the best Mexican food that I had taste in my whole life ( I live in San Francisco, nothing there is like this place)
I ordered Shrimp garlic sauce. The best. - Ruby R.San Diego, CA10197561/3/2023

All I can say is the albóndigas! That's probably my favorite dish on their menu.. they take a while to prepare, but if you call ahead and order, you're good to go!

We were craving some quick Mexican food while we were in the area and Los Panchitos was one of the few spots that were open at the time. We decided to check it out. They have a large menu with a wide selection of options.
// FOOD //
California Burrito: I've had many Cali burritos in SD and this one was pretty good. Love the red and green salsa as well.
Other people in my group got a variety of different tacos and the rolled tacos as well. They said all of it was good.
The only downside is that the food is pretty pricey for what it is. Coming from LA, there's plenty of spots that have $1 street style tacos and I would have expected the same in SD. However, their "mini" tacos are $1.99 on Tuesdays and even more pricey on other days. For a California burrito, 4 mini tacos, and 3 rolled tacos it was $30.
