El Parralito

Such an unassuming Mexican restaurant. It was delicious and quick. We are traveling with an RV and there was ample parking.
We were seated quickly, given our drinks and order taken all in a timely manner.
The restaurant is clean, and cheerful and servers are cheerful as well.
We got there just before lunch as the place was filling up!
Love this place!
My husband ordered the huevos rancheros and I had the taco salad. Both were flavorful and manageable in portion size.
Thank you for the familiar Mexican flavor!

I don't know if I am a big fan...

Came here on a whim after a day of tubing hoping to get some good Mexican food...but I was wrong. Rather, we couldn't find the actual restaurant we were looking for so we settled....

Pros:
1) Chips and salsa - the salsa wasn't that amazing, but at the same it was because of the garlic!! yum
2) Price - If you get a combo
3) Clean bathroom

Con:
1) If you really want food from a can by all means. Literally, the ground beef taste like it was from a can that you can make yourself
2) Had to wait 20 min for the "check" when you need to pay up front. Someone should have told us that. If there was a sign... It wasn't that visible.
3) Service = bad, I think a few times we had who I think may have been the owner and he was on point, but I think our waitress needed a little more training on giving us more attention rather than having us flag her down all the time.
4) Don't be fooled by the tacos! Let it be known that they are hard shell tacos. From where I am from in Cali and even most of the time in NYC, tacos = soft shell!

Watch out on Sundays after church....it was packed!

Food was great! Big portions, actually too much food!! Staff was very friendly. Smaller restaurant, but would recommend it to anyone!!

Quality food & the best carnitas dinner! The staff was also super friendly & helpful. So glad we stopped by. If we lived in the area, we would definitely be regulars.

The wife and kids enjoyed, I Didn't . +'s clean, tv's, bathroom clean.
-'s food was salty, $$, had to make emergency bathroom RUN.

Stopped to eat here on the way home and it was great! All the food was delicious. My husband really loved the salsa picosa (very hot salsa). Service was very friendly. If you're in Glenwood, I highly recommend this place.

The food and waitstaff were awesome. The owner was very nice and kept checking on us but his staff and food were doing the talking for him because it was all great!

Some of the best authentic Mexican food ever awaits you here. I personally recommend the Ranchero Special.

I'm from Houston and Hispanic and I was alittle afraid of what the Mexican food out here would taste like well this place exceeded my expectation. My boyfriend and I ordered the fajita Jalisco and the flavors was incredible . This place has really Mexican food not tex-mex. You need to try it if you are passing by.
