Where do I begin telling my nightmare with this office? I decided to give Dr. Lopez a try because my previous Obgyn Dr. Todd Andrews closed his private practice and was no longer seeing patients. I was devastated beyond myself because he was truly the best of the best. No
Comparison to any of the ones I saw in the past. So, I go to this office and it was a hot mess! Not only was the office filthy there were no available seats. As I got to the counter the girl didn't greet me with a hello or look me in my eye she just asked for my name. I waited for a half hour till I got called back and when I did another dr. Came in and checked me. She didn't say who she was so when I found out later this dr. Wasn't even dr. Lopez! Just a mess from the start. I got billed for something I never approved of. So I talked to the
Office manager and explained my story. She was as useless as a door knob. And rude!! She didn't offer to help me in any way so I told her I would never step foot into that disgusting office again!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Juliet G.Los Angeles, CA071May 14, 2010First to Review
I was very dissapointed with the appointment I had with this dr. She said that taking Basal Body Temperature is no longer considered useful and that I should come back in 1 year if I didn't get pregnant. I was not happy with the experience.

Very rude, cold, couldn't care less about what is actually best for mom and baby. I had a terrible experience with her and ultimately chose to discharge against her "advice" from the hospital until I was actually in labor. She wanted to induce for zero reason and wouldn't listen to a word I said, seemed more of a convenience thing on her part and no medical reasoning. I ended up going into labor on my own just hours later and decided to labor as long as I could in the lobby of San Joaquin before going to L&D and being admitted. My hope was that baby would come too fast for her to actually make it. It worked and baby did, nurses weren't even paying attention and my husband nearly had to step in. However, when Dr Lopez came in to take cord blood sample, check for tears, and help with placenta, she was incredibly unprofessional and physically rough. She didn't have anything to say and knew I had been right earlier in the day in not inducing. I couldn't believe anyone person could be so callous when handling a woman who had just given birth. Her whole practice and my entire experience was awful and I would never ever recommend anyone go to her.
