Okay foods are so delicious and my favorite is five colors dumplings. It comes with different colors and flavors. Also, the pork bao and the cucumber salad are excellent. Must try they with vinegar and it gets next level!!!!

Little Pan in Santa Ana offers great food with fresh flavors and satisfying portions. The service is friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a casual meal. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

When you're hungry and want something simple, Little Pan is the place to go. Upon entering, you sit wherever there is a seat, and you order by QR code at your table. We ordered the shrimp and leek buns, rainbow dumplings, scallion pancakes, shredded bean curd, braised pork noodles, and special XLB. Yes, it can be pretty carb heavy but that's the joy.
The shrimp and leek buns were the winner. The skin on the bun is soft on top but crispy and crunch on the bottom. The juice inside each bun is akin to XLB where you just want to drink the broth within. If there's any takeaway from reading this review, it is to order the shrimp leek buns.
All the other items were good, but not as much of a standout as the buns. The rainbow dumplings were visually appealing, tasty but didn't have the wow factor. Same with the XLB and braised pork noodles, but they were still delicious.
Interior is a bit small, but clean. Service is quick and friendly.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Chris E.Irvine, CA021Nov 6, 2024Updated review

Was craving some pan fried dumplings and beef rolls and decided to stop by at Little Pan for some delicious beef pancake.
Their service is quick. The food came out in less than 15 mins. I loved their pan fried dumplings($12.99). Super crispy bottom and filled with pork filling.
The beef pancake($12.99) was filled with cilantro and beef. I thought there was too much cilantro for my taste however it was great.
The congee($3.99) was well made.
A stand out for me was definitely the Dan Dan noodles($11.99). Perfectly spicy and peanuty with well seasoned meat on top. Truly an addicting dish.
Will definitely come back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Oct 5, 20241 check-in
Legit place for Sheng Jian Bao (pan seared pork bao at the bottom). Only a few minor improvements needed 1) Not juicy enough 2) bottom not crispy enough. But I'm nitpicking as SJB is from my hometown and thus I have high standards lol.
I would say the ones from Kang Lang Food Court is better if you are willing to drive to San Gabriel Valley.
Ordered a few other dishes:
- Lamb sauerkraut vermicelli soup: 8 out of 10. Wish soup a bit more sour
- Pickled cucumber: 10 out of 10! Very nice balance of spice with chilly oil, garlic and vinegar. Cucumber super crunchy!
- Pickled wood-ear: 7 out of 10. It slightly lacks the flavor balance and needs more vinegar.
- Shredded bean curd: 9 out of 10. This is a nice surprise. Great flavor and texture.
Pro tip: If you don't want to sit in restaurant, there are plenty of seats outside that are shared by all restaurant in the plaza.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 25, 2024
Came here a while back when it first opened. Short and sweet, the dumplings are pretty good.
Tried their "cup and dumpling" deal. $26 (including tip) is a little high for 20 dumplings and a soy milk. I also don't think its fair/good to charge $1 to make it spicy, when it tasted like the chili oil used to do that, was readily available on the table.
I think its worth it to try at least 0once, and maybe get their other dumplings (coming here with more people is beneficial because you can each try different ones, and share).
But I would not recommend this place for a single rider, looking to try different items, unless you plan to visit multiple days, 1 type of dumpling each time.

Amazing dumplings and I want to be back when I am in the area. I had done research since I was in the area for work and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the angus beef mini dumplings with a Jasmine soybean milk. This was a fantastic ordered that I will suggest to others. I know my coworkers were also not disappointed. They all ordered the house dumplings which were a good size fried soup dumpling with a lot of soup in it. They too were not disappointed at all and were all glad that I suggested this place. The only set back was the ordering system was not user friendly and it took a few extra minutes to figure out that when you scan the QR code everyone at the table will place their order on the same bill. Not a big deal just a fair warning.

Overall: delicious and at a reasonable price!
Cannot wait to return.
Details:
-I had the lunch special with house special pan fried buns and your choice of soup or side. We ended up ordering two more orders of the buns because we loved the taste so much. The bread is equal parts soft and doughy on the inside and firm on the outside. The soup filling and the meat can each stand on their own. The nori egg drop soup was equally delightful. The nori taste is strong and the soup is dense.
Service: the food comes out so quickly! Perfect if you need a quick bite to eat. You can order at the counter or at the table using a QR code. Take a look at their lunch specials - good deal.
Ambiance: clean on the inside, tastefully but minimally decorated. Parking lot is small. No issues going for a lunch on a weekday.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 29, 2024
Cute new spot in Santa Ana for Chinese comfort food!
FOOD: Definitely recommend the House Special Pork Pan Fried Bans. Super juicy inside with a nice crispy outside. The platter of 6 was perfect to split between 2 people, as they are filling. The rainbow dumplings are also a nice treat, with a chance to try 4 different fillings in one platter (8 dumplings). Everything was served hot and tasted fresh.
PRICE: Incredibly fair prices for the service. Total bill was only $24 for two people splitting two platters, no drinks.
SERVICE: 1 point off for service, team seemed at capacity/busy so receiving help took a bit longer than desired.
INTERIOR: No need to takeout, there is plenty of space inside as well as a bathroom and free refillable water. It can get windy so be sure to keep this in mind. There are cute bao balloons on the ceiling, but these were flying around with the wind!
Overall a great treat for a good price, will definitely return.
